maybe because i like it when things get darker, maybe because i'm waiting for the silence, i'd always choose sunset over sunrise.
sunset arrives with a lot of promises; the day is finished, i have done what i could, tomorrow is a new day. time to rest the case and go to sleep.
2012, albert hall museum, india.
this photo was probably taken with iphone3.
india was the land of dreams, the fuel that sparked my passion for travelling. it tops my ongoing list of places i've visited, and one that left many memorable experiences.
i promised @lochnezz to start a travel blog, someday, this year. but i do need to reacquaint myself with words. do i still remember how to blog? and if i do, should i wrote something as old as 2012? that is the question.
loy khratong festival, 2016.
throwback photo because it reminds me of inuyasha's feudal era.
life is about balance. the light and the dark. the highs and the lows. the pina and the colada. the pretty instragam feed and the japanese anime that inspires it. yes, that will do.
Happiest birthday to my mom, one of two strongest woman I know (the other one is my grandma who had her birthday yesterday).
The most important lesson I've ever got in my life was when I was about 10 years old, and I asked mom, why did we have to take 'ojek' when everyone else in my school had cars and private drivers?
Her answer, one that I will never ever forget, was: "Who do you think you are, don't want to take 'ojek'? A princess?!" 😅😅😅 It taught me to never be a snob, to be humble, to remember where we started. Stay rooted to the ground, no matter what.
Love her to the moon and back 😘
