“What are you training for!?” Life is my answer. Whether it is mental or physical hardship that you are going through you have to find a place that keeps your sanity. The gym is my sanctuary, I pray here, eat, dream, sweat , bleed, I’ve even slept here. It is where I feel at peace and I am so grateful that I have found the gym at such a young age entirely self motivated. Strength is something that you chose. You can chose to be weak,or strong plain and simple. Regardless of your circumstance, there truly are no excuses. I have worked with the blind here, people with back braces, bodies held together by screws and pins. That is my motivation because they are not complacent as well, they are great . They are taking what life gave them and turning it around. For all of you is why I train, to help motivate, inspire, encourage, even just to talk to if you need someone. Change in yourself does not have to be a bad thing. It is beautiful, and can change the world. Penthouse floor in Miami, things could not be much better right now. I have to thank God for the chance to be down here to finally get a chance to relax. The last 2 years I have done nothing but dedicate my time to my work to have chances to take breaks like this. When I just turned 21 I was in a hell of a slump. I made less than $300 a month, lived at my parents, plus I had no real friends or support pursuing my dream to become a personal trainer who has there own gym on top of all of the other ridiculous ideas people think I come up with. Despite the negativity around me, I decided to stay positive and force myself to think positive when others did nothing but try to bring me down. Needless to say I refused, I’m nowhere close to where I want to be yet. But I have not gave up and now I’m enjoying life in a much better mindset. Never underestimate the simplest of exercises “the push-up”. I am frequently asked, “how do I get a bigger chest, aside from flys and benching”. Push ups allow you to position your hands and elbows in countless directions that allow you to hit areas of the chest that a barbell just can’t touch. Changing your hand positioning, during your repetition will force blood to other parts of your chest, shoulders, and triceps creating different shapes/confusing the muscle greatly. Sometimes just taking a few steps back to the basics, can give huge results. I suggest for anyone just starting working out to try 5 sets of 10 to start, 3 days a week: and then the following week add an extra rep. Don’t eat carbs “they” say. They will make you fat “they” say. Clearly I’m quoting the word “they”. Who is “they” and why does everyone trust “they”? Let me make a list.
They-“don’t eat after 7”
They-“carbs are bad”
They-“cardio is the only way to get lean” 
They-“eat 1200 calories”
They-“you’re to skinny”
They-“you’re fat”

I could go on and on about this. My point is that almost everything  you hear regarding  the fitness industry is false. You see nobody knows who makes this stuff up, but it is out there ruining people’s lives. “They” ruins self esteem, courage, and most importantly loving, and thinking for yourself. It leaves you guessing what you should eat, and what you can’t. It leaves you comparing yourself to others which we all know isn’t the right thing to do but yet,we will still do it.  My point for writing this post is to expose “they”. I have been exercising for years, well before the “fitfam” craze, before it was “cool” to workout. I understand these myths, because I have been obsessed my whole life with getting stronger, and building a physique. I want to help others understand that doing actual research and asking someone that knows what they are doing can give the clarity you need to reach whatever physique goal you have for yourself. “They” helped me develop an eating disorder. It also helped me lose my confidence in myself at one point in my life. On top of that, “they” has even made me want to take my own life. It is truly disgusting what is out there, brainwashing people into thinking they are not good enough. But you really are, you really fucking are remember that. It doesn’t matter what you look like, because beauty is only skin deep. I just understand, and I’m sure others do also that we live in a society that wants us to think that unless you have abs, a perfect smile, a 4.0, or are a superstar athlete that you aren’t good enough. I really love the view from out here, one of the places I grew up at that I always have to visit are the mountains. I like to use hiking as my cardio because of the consistent inclines. It's a great way to burn body fat, while preserving muscle due the low impact walking actually is. Long distance running compared to walking up inclines, will do nothing but deteriorate lean muscle tissue.
