Haven't been making this for quite a while so start to miss that taste. Haha. I found there were some radish at a Sunday market here. Actually, they've got heaps of Asian leafy greens at this stand. We shop there every Sunday for our weekly veg food. As you know, radish is not an common veg at a supermarket. We were so lucky to get one.😁
【Steam baked chocolate sponge cake】
It's my second time of making sponge cake. I love its sweetness level. It's on a very low level so there is no heavy burden for the body when I take one or two pieces of it. It's truly hard to find a tasty cake around that I love. That is why I enjoy making everything so much by my own.
【Raspberry Bread with rum sultanas 】(Tangzhong)
It's my first chance to buy rum in a liquor shop. Sultanas have been soaked in rum for two days. Every bite of each single sultana can be squeezed out rum juice with its amazing smell.
【Purple yam red bean steamed bun】
It's quite hard to find purple yams here in the supermarket. I only saw there are some red sweet potato but it's white inside. 🤔Anyway I found a frozen one in a new Asian supermarket in a week ago in Sunnybank Hills. This light pink color makes my steamed buns look so adorable.😍
【Dragon fruit bread with taro mash and dried blueberry】(Tangzhong)
Some dried blueberries bought from an organic shop a few weeks ago was found in the drawer of kitchen. Though I have already added sugar in the mash, it does not taste sweet at all. It suddenly hit upon a great idea.💡 Then, both of them become the filling of my bread. It tastes surprisingly wonderful with each other. Haha
【Soybean yogurt and pineapple jam】
I tried a new brand of starter bought by my mum in law. This starter is much easier to do and the result tastes so nice. It takes only 3-4 hours to complete the fermitation which is much faster than the one(20hours😴) I used before. I just need to wait for cooked soybean milk cooling down to 45°C and add the starter. I think the most annoying step should be sanitizing the yogurt jar by boiling water. Haha😂
【Steam baked sponge cake】古早味蛋糕
I have been thinking of making(eating🤔) this for a while and it finally came truth today.😅Due to always lack of one kind of ingredients as once milk and the other time eggs😒, it stopped me to start it. This cake is not too sweet and proper size. 😆It's absolutely a good snack when you've just got a munchies.😛
【Raw honey bread with smashed red bean（Tangzhong）】
It's my first experience of making bread, and also a first try of Tangzhong method dough cultivating. This method mixes 1 part flour with 5 parts water then stir and cook until the mixture thickens. It is to make the bread taste softer. This way is a bit similar to making mochi. Actually, there are two of them with dried blueberry not red bean, it tastes good as well. This should be a preview for the next time.
【Vegan blood rice cake】（素米血糕）
I've totally never thought of making this in my life time because it can be found anywhere even in a 7-11 shop in Taiwan. Blood rice cake is a traditional food which is very popular in every night market. It is mainly made with gluneous rice and pig/duck blood. I know it sounds horrible. That is why I made a vegetarian one at home. Nori takes the place of animal blood. It smells awesome and is not worse than the real blood at all.
【Egg Tart】（Olive oil）
It's my first try of egg tart. Unfortunately, they were cracked when I popped them out from the tart mold. Truly a big tradegy. I knew it was gonna happen like that so I took one shot before then.😅 It could be a good thing.
