Brooks Warner LEARNED TO SKI AT OAK MOUNTAIN. Brooks started skiing at @oakmountainski when he was 7 years old. Despite his disabilities, Oak Mountain ski instructors were very patient and kind. They even created personalized adaptive equipment for him. Brooks is doing quite well in his lessons and really enjoys skiing at Oak Mountain. #generationsofOak#oakmountainski 📷: @thegermainhouse
Another SPECULATOR REGION weather update from ilsnow.com. Wow... Looks like Fulton/Saratoga counties and vicinity are getting absolutely bombed! Seen reports of a foot down there already. Meanwhile someone has flipped the switch and the snow is accumulating here again. 2.5" in downtown Indian Lake with roads greasy. It will need to keep snowing at this rate for several hours to get a half-foot because we're at the time of year where the high sun angle adversely impacts snow accumulation outside of where it's truly thumping... 📷: ilsnow.com
Looks like a solid hit for ilsnow.com land late Thursday night into Friday as major nor'easter performs counter-clockwise loop southeast of Long Island! For detailed forecast visit the link in our bio. 📷: ilsnow.com
More pictures from I LEARNED TO SKI AT OAK MOUNTAIN series....I recently had my parents slides converted to digital. This one looks like the first time we went to Oak in 1976, because we are not carrying skis and we rented that first year. Also, the car is our 1972 Buick and my parents got a station wagon in 1976. I remember falling off the T bar on the steep part and walking through 3 feet of snow to get to Sacandaga. There was no way I was falling off again. 33 years of great memories and still making more. See you this weekend at Oak. #generationsofOak#oakmountainski 📷: Michael Westra
