Lake Bled at dusk captured by photographer @thetechcreative 👉🏽 "Bled has a lot of options in terms of different angles of the island you can capture. Try and spend time there for sunrise and sunset if you can, and do the hike to get a picture from a higher altitude if you do not have the luxury of a drone and/or permission to fly your drone."

Here's some background behind the first image: "When traveling through Yosemite for a few days, this beautiful deer came from nowhere and started drinking. I was so excited, it was just perfect! I moved position several times to get this, although the first few were good, moving almost into the water was worth it. Don’t be satisfied with the first shot you take, keep going and try new angles!" #ukphotoshow
The streets of Chicago photographed by @mattbweitz "When I'm out shooting, I am always looking for vibrant colors. The leading lines mixed with the combination of yellow made this shot just a little more special." | a7 II | 24-70 GM f 2.8 | 1/160 | ISO 100 | #SonyAlpha
In honor of #NationalPuppyDay , we are sharing a few of our favorite shots from #AlphaCollective member and professional puppy photographer @zachallia 🐶 "Puppies are one of my favorite subjects. It is always a challenge to work with them as they have so much energy and aren’t trained, but it’s so rewarding to capture them in a photograph that will put smiles on lots of faces. As a full time traveling photographer, I can’t have a puppy of my own so I visit rescue shelters while I’m on the road to raise awareness. I use my a9 to shoot with puppies because of the 20 fps, the tilt screen so I can be on their level, and silent shooting as the clicks can scare some little pups!"

Here's a piece of advice from the photographer 👉🏽 "A photo isn't just a photo, it's your moment frozen for endless time. So, enjoy every moment you can freeze!" | a7R II | 16-35mm f4 | ISO 200 | f10 | 1/60 |
📷: @wildlicht "Winter far up north is a magical experience. Never ending blue hour. The contrast between the cozy cabins and the cold snowy weather all together create a beautiful mix for moody pictures. The only thing you're probably gonna miss sometimes is the sunlight. But for shooting long exposures it can be really helpful, if you don’t have any filters. Put your camera on a tripod and set your aperture to F22 and ISO to 100 and you are already able to shoot a nice long exposure because of the low light situation." | a7R III | 16-35mm F2.8 GM | F22 | ISO 100 | 6 sec |
Stormy weather over Sydney, Australia, captured by photographer @robmulally ⚡️ Here's how he got the shot: "I saw a storm over Sydney and had my camera in the car, so I headed to a spot where I thought the frame could be interesting. I used an external trigger to run a time lapse and had a 13 second exposure time. I had the time lapse take a photo every 14 seconds and luckily the storm was moving away from me so I was not in the path of the storm nor had any rain." | a7R II | 16-35mm F4 @ 17 | 13 sec | ISO 100 |
