Sorry I’ve been gone for a long time!! So I’ve noticed something rather peculiar and after speaking to a fellow celiac I’ve realize I haven’t gone mad. Here in my hand is a Milky Way which to my knowledge have always been safe to eat but did you know depending on where it’s manufactured it’s not necessarily safe? I was reading the ingredients (something I do when I’m bored) and saw it said malted barley 🚩🚩 but further reading as you can see it doesn’t say it contains gluten. This is something that can completely be overlooked! I’ve looked online and saw that Mars actually switch manufacturers and ingredients depending on the season! I don’t know about you guys but there’s been times I’ve been sick and couldn’t figure out how but now knowing that my favorite chocolate bar hasn’t always been safe it all makes sense now.
Late Post: I’ve discovered my new favorite dessert then was saddened by the realization it only comes out once a year for Hanukkah 😩. These Rasp-berry-licious Donuts from @bythewaybakery are simply divine!!!! These donuts are sure to melt in your mouth! Can’t wait till I’m able to order more, is it to late?!?!
