So today I decided I'm 100% looking for a new job. Had a gutload of this place im sorry but i signed on to work 5 days a week not be manipulated into working 6 days a week oh and 36 hours over 3 days all while getting less than industry standard. So if you of any jobs going let me know.
So i threw away my vortex crossfire ii and I've replaced it with a cheap ass airsoft quick sight. Not really just had to tighten up the base. I really need to take it to the gun smith to make sure it's locked down and straight. This gun kicks the shit out of my should and it's only .308
Cheers for the kick in the teeth ADF. I was a choco for 7 years while balancing day jobs and an a apprenticeship. During my apprenticeship i was stronged armed into working the afternoon shift. This was at about the year 3 mark. I found it very exhausting working the afternoon shift finishing at 11pm then going to work the next morning so i could still parade on tuesday nights. I ended up missing training nights and didn't qualify for AIRN even though i had passed my BFA and LF1 for the peirod. Now I'm not blaming woman for getting medals after 2 years. Im blaming the bullshit PC culture. I didn't get my thank for coming medal so you shouldn't either. If this offends you feel free to unsub. End of rant
This will be a 2 part review, part 1 now as an uneducated tripod shooter and next as someone who has asked questions and googled stuff. Main focus of this review is on the PRS SSP1 narrow cradle. The cradle was purchased from @lowvisgear in atacix. The cradle has velcro which holds the cover on which if like me you have a cheap tripod means the anchor screw doesn't reach. The velcro also acts as it's own anchor if you have hook and loop on your pack so your not limited to a tripod. My only issue I've come across is that even though i have the narrow cradel my MDT LSS chassis seems to be narrower than most chassises leaving it space to move around. My mauser fits in it snugly so that it holds the rifle in place. Even with the loose fit the cradel still allowed me to get a shot onto my 100mm round target at 100 yrds. I need more time with the cradel to give a my full review. Time for to shoot better.
So anyone who knows me knows I'm a nerd. I still do awesome shit but my guilty pleasure is nerdy stuff. I ordered these bad boys for when I was off work and not allowed to do anything. They arrived yesterday.
