With choosing not to compete this year, it’s been hard for me to make better food decisions because it’s almost like I feel it doesn’t matter since I have no set time frame that I want to look a certain way. Tbh, that was the aspect I liked most about prep, the fact that it gave me a structured route of progress, and with my training as on point as it is, I really gotta get my diet back too 💯😔

Focus. If you’re not mentally connected to the movement your about to do as well as the muscle group it’s working, you’ve already made a mistake before touching the weights.

Form. Executing the exercise perfectly is essential to not only maximizing the benefits of the movement, but to preventing and avoiding unnecessary injuries that just set you back.

Fatigue. Not to be confused with repping to failure, every exercise I do, regardless of the set & rep range I’m, I work my muscles until they’re spent. If you’re not putting in 100% effort, don’t expect 100% results.

Muscles been growin real consistently lately & the biggest factor in that is the amount of volume I’ve been incorporating in my training. Not necessarily the heaviest weight, but enough for 3-4 extremely difficult sets of 6-8 💪🏼

If you’re currently plateaued, don’t lose hope. There’s always a different approach that you can take to your current regimen without having to stress trying an entirely different one that can help you break through that. Keep grinding & trust me, we all gon make it 🙄🤘🏼

Today I wanna talk about balance & moderation 🤔

Not too long ago as I’m sure most of you have seen, I was partying very frequently, around 2 to 3 times a week even, and as fun as that may have been, it was taking a toll on my other goals & endeavors. Don’t get me wrong, I am ALL about living it up, and enjoying life to the fullest extent, but in moderation.

Think about it, most people that go out a lot will tell you life is too short, but the thing is, don’t you want your partying/celebration to level up too? Hear me out, if we’re spending most of our days right now dropping cash and drinking, it’s gonna make it that much harder to progress, make more money, and eventually be able to celebrate on another level. On the other hand, if we limit our partying to a less frequent occasion, it will not only make it that much more fun when we go out, but it allow us to celebrate harder with more money, better locations, and a group of people that are more in tune with our goals/aspirations. After all, I’d much rather focus more on discipline for now and be able to live it up on an island somewhere rather than stay stagnant and caught in the same routine 🤷🏻‍♂️
