The near loss of the Bison is a prime example of how we can rebuild from a catastrophe. A species that was once on the brink of extinction, now once again roams North America in mass. Perhaps something can be learned from this?
I’m curious, what exactly is the science behind looking at a mountain and feeling overwhelming euphoria? The actual feat of ascending a mountain (like the one in this photo) is quite hazardous, and the conditions tend to be unfavorable to most humans. I’ve always thought that snow covered mountains looked like Oreo cookie ice cream, so maybe our minds are mistaking mountains for dessert? I think I just answered my own question 😎
