Happy International Women’s Day!
Lemme get real a minute. My personal journey towards claiming my femininity as someone who has always felt safer and more at home in my masculinity has been a long and arduous journey that I am still on today. Like right now. As you read this. Recently, I’ve made it a key objective in my life to open myself to the strength in femininity and to wholeheartedly practice making a space, both physical and emotional, to support myself and others while I work towards accepting my own divine femininity and knowing that doing so does not have to mean giving up my masculinity. For all my tomboys out there, you are not alone. For all my shy girls out there, you are not alone. For all my fabulous people who reject gender norms/would rather not be classified by the standard and unimportant pronouns our society uses, you are not alone. And above all, you are all loved, and you are all critical to moving the world towards positivity, kindness, and safety and acceptance for all folks, marginalized or not.
A @_calidaa inspired look! ✨In our brief time together you've given me so much more confidence to play around with makeup and I'm so glad to have met you!! (Watch out, I was serious about popping up in NY to come see you 😏) ✨ Lips are @maccosmetics 'Carniverous' liquid lipstick, gel eyeliner and mascara from idk the drugstore 🙃 #latepost#makeup#mua#inspired#peoplearecool#selflove#selfexploration
