Is it humane to blitz up an unwanted newborn baby in your kitchen blender or down your sink macerator?
What do you think would happen in court, if you argued this method of killing your baby was humane?
Wouldn't adoption be more humane?
In the eggs industry, male chicks are considered an unwanted byproduct of egg production and are killed and disposed of shortly after birth. Usually they are given 24 hours of life and sadly this is the Australian RSPCA approved method of killing. If this information doesn't sit right with you, perhaps it's time to change your diet so you aren't awarding people (with a paycheck) to macerate babies.
Animals feel pain just like you and I.
If you wouldn't wish such suffering for yourself, why would you choose to wish it upon others?
What gives you the right to take the life of another when you could just as easily choose to eat something else?

Before & After.. Some vegan inspiration for those unsure of what happens after making the transition. Photos are taken approximately 12 months apart. Having dropped 60kg just by doing nothing more than changing my diet it absolutely recommend this lifestyle to everybody! I have no more heart or blood pressure problems, my d*ck works without drugs, I don't puff or struggle to walk up stairs anymore, I feel clarity in my mind & love the fact that I can RUN! Sometimes I feel like a bit of a fairy prancing about but it seriously feels amazing to run and move my body quickly like I did when I was a kid. I don't have to only shop at 'big man' stores anymore. I rarely get sweaty and when I do it doesn't smell rotten like it did before being Vegan. My skin changed from dull to a healthy glow & my sleep has improved dramatically! So if you're looking for a sustainable healthy lifestyle where every meal tastes amazing, THIS IS IT!!

A quick flashback to that time I fell in love with China. What an incredibly unique country with so many beautiful people and so much to offer. It was an amazing 3 weeks travelling between Beijing, Shanghai, Guilin, Yangshuo County & Hong Kong. One bit of travel advice I've learned from the beginning of this trip was that in Asia, if you're struggling to find stomachable food after a long international flight, you can always rely on a bowl of steamed rice to get you through - It's available everywhere! Thanks for the wonderful memories @ali.rari @veganadventurevan 😍✈󾓭🌏

A pervert columnist giving dietary advice about the benefits of eating eggs. People read his rubbish articles on MSN & believe it's the truth, leaving thinking that eggs are healthy. It only takes a tiny bit if digging to realise this bloke is a fool with obviously very little knowledge on the subject of health. He is literally juggling with people's lives over a paycheck. Fuck him.

Face this world. Learn its ways, watch it, be careful of hasty guesses at its meaning. Looking up at the moon and stars just the other night suddenly dwarfed my own troubles and worries. I ponder on their unfathomable distance and the slow inevitable drift of their movements out of the unknown past into the unknown future. We can know only that we know nothing. Breathe and just be.

Vegan Potlucks are great tonne of fun! It's often difficult to meet and make new friends outside of work and school. Making new friends (not just acquaintances) is something I had struggled with for several years before I became Vegan. These days I feel humbled & truly blessed being a part of the vegan community with some of the nicest, most thoughtful & genuinely pure people I have ever encountered. If you're struggling with life, try being Vegan. Nothing has changed my life more than making the conscious decision every day to be more thoughtful of; And kind toward others (humans & animals alike).

When was the last time you intentionally fed a fly? Very little of us appreciate the little guys who inhabit this glorious planet with us. When you be kind to all you find that happiness flows naturally through you.

(Continued...) You're doing your best to stay calm and be gentle. It must be confusing for her because wounds and marks on her body show the type of physical contact she's used to receiving from the humans who keep her here. You walk through the shed passing crate after crate, each with a mother and babies. Some of the babies are sleeping, some are frantically feeding and others are gasping for breath because they're sick. But they don't receive care. They'll die on the grate floor or be slammed against the concrete by the farmers at some point. After all, that's just industry standard. You're here to rescue one because that's all you can manage for now, so you pick up a sleeping piglet. You say over and over to his mother how sorry you are but try to tell her you're going to give him a good life. You tell her how sorry you are that you can't save her too. With tears running down your face and heart beating out of your chest you run. Run with your piglet silently out of the shed, down the corridor, past the dead bodies and the grave. You run through fields, through ankle deep water, through bush following the path you've created earlier and back to your hidden car. As you drive away, you look over to see the piglet you helped to rescue, he's nuzzled into your friends chest and he's sleeping so peacefully. This is the first time in his life he's had fresh air. The first time he's experienced real warmth. The first time he's been away from screaming. And for a moment you feel peace. You can't save them all. And you can't even share your full story, but you can do your best to share theirs. This story is for the beautiful souls trapped in Brisbane farms. 🐖

(Continued)... You walk up a long corridor. The floor is hard concrete and the night is so dark it's hard to see at times. To your right is pen after cold  metal pen full of grown pigs. Some are sleeping, you can't understand how because the ground is so hard and cold, the sounds are so loud and the smells are so sickening, but they manage to sleep. Some are standing watching you in silence. You want to comfort them but have to keep moving. The door into the shed is just around the corner so you crawl quietly in, closing it silently behind you. At this point you've entered the cruellest reality you've ever seen. Part of you doesn't believe it. Part of you is in shock because although you've seen images of inside these factory farms before the reality is so much different. The floors and walls are the same, the cages are the same, but this time innocent eyes are watching you. A beautiful mother lays on the cold, hard floor of a gestational crate in front of you. Frantic babies are feeding from her and all she can do is lay there. Metal bars hold her in place so that standing up is hard for her and turning around is impossible. Her eye looks into yours and she's pleading, "Please don't hurt me" while at the same time has given up hope and she knows that she's powerless. She's lived her life as a baby making machine... sometimes she gets beaten by workers, and she knows there's nothing she can do about it. That's just how things are done here. There are cockroaches and bugs crawling everywhere. Stray cats and kittens are darting around the shed. One even lays with some piglets in a crate to try and keep warm. The ceiling is covered in dirt, dust and cobwebs; the floor covered in excrement and filth. There are hundreds of tortured trapped pigs in here. You look into the eyes of one mother sitting watching you and it's like looking into the eyes of a sad friend. You know she's feeling the tiniest ray of hope but has spent too many years abused to let herself believe you might be here to help, so she just watches. You know she can tell you're different. You're not the usual men who come into these sheds... (Continued...)

Tucked neatly away just behind some trees off a busy road is an old and peaceful looking farmhouse... behind that is hell. Behind that wholesome country facade is a world that's made of the most horrific things you can imagine.... things you've never imagined. Behind the country homestead is a large concrete 3 bay dumping ground which at first sight looks just like piles of dirt and sawdust... but as you get closer you begin to see feet, legs and faces appearing. As the rotting bodies below decompose the sawdust hiding them falls to reveal the bodies on top and it hits you- this is a mass grave. The smell is like nothing you've experienced before. It's rotten and you can't help but vomit. As you see and smell the tortured bodies beside you, all you can hear is the loud banging of machinery, the flowing of sewerage waste and screaming... agonized screaming. You try not to focus on the grave you're passing and walk through the dark, at times tripping over long grass, holes in the dirt tracks and discarded equipment. As you get closer to the sheds the smell of death and decomposing bodies begins to be drowned out by the smell of faeces and rot. It's a terrifying place that looks like the set from a Rob Zombie slasher movie... but it's not... It's humane farming. There are what look like chlorine buckets. Some freshly washed and upside down to dry, but 2 standing upright and open. You get closer and look inside to see curled up babies... thrown into buckets as trash. Just as you reach the entry to the sheds you almost trip over something again so look down and realise it's another body. A body that hasn't been dead long laying out in the open, with a long metal rod shoved into it through the mouth, just left at the back entry because whoever stole this life didn't care to move it afterwards. You whisper "I'm sorry baby" and keep going. Again, you need to focus so try to put it out of your mind as you did the mass grave and dead babies... (Continued...)
