SANO PIZZA!! I was blown away by this pizza last night - going to go ahead and say it's my favorite I've had in Dublin! Pictured are the Diavola (spicy salami, tomato, mozzarella) and the Sapori Del Sud (fennel sausage, nduja, friarelli and mozzarella). They were both incredible!

The restaurant has a no-reservation policy however has plenty of tables, so my advice would be to try it out before it gets super busy!

I've also hear the Nutella + banana pic is freaking epic so I'll have to come back for that!

Method below 🍅👇 Chop up one squash into cubes, coat with a small amount of olive oil & salt and place in a pre-heated oven at 190 Celsius for 30 mins. Open and toss half way through. With 5 mins to go, add a large handful of halved cherry tomatoes. At 30 mins, remove from the oven, and toss with  as much crumbled feta as you like and optional basil leaves!

Mince, peas & turmeric curry recipe! High in protein & veg, and low in calories means this is the perfect recipe for your meal-prep needs. It can easily be made in 30 mins, so great for a weeknight meal. 
Macros per portion: 600 cal, 73g carbs, 13.5g fat, 43.9g protein

Ingredients:
Serves 2
1 tbsp oil
0.75 onion chopped
3 cloves garlic
1 inch sized piece of ginger grated 
1 chilli (more if you like) 
1 tbsp garam masala 
1 tsp turmeric
Chopped coriander
2 large chopped tomatoes
Half a lime
300g 5% beef mince
150g frozen peas
1 tsp Salt & pepper

0.5 cucumber chopped
0.25 onion
2 tbsp 0% Greek Yogurt
Squeeze of lime
Pinch of salt

80g of uncooked rice per person 
Directions
For the cucumber salad, combine the ingredients in a bowl, taste and adjust for salt and lime.

Cook the rice according to pack instructions while you are making the mince. 
Heat 1 tbsp olive oil over medium heat. Fry the onion for 8 mins then add the garlic, chilli and grated ginger; fry for a further 3 mins (marvel at smell). Add the beef mince, garam masala, tumeric and stir to break up the mince. Cook for 10 mins on high until the mince is fully broken apart; adding a small amount of water if it gets too dry. Add the peas, tomatoes, salt & pepper and cook for 5 min. Stir in the lime juice and coriander (as much as you like), taste and adjust salt before serving.

Try these delicious orechiette with tomato, peppers and meatballs for dinner tonight! This recipe is healthy and perfect post workout.

Serves 3
Ingredients:

For the meatballs:
400g lean mince (I used 4%)
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper

For the sauce:
1 tbsp olive oil
1 small onion chopped
1 large red/orange pepper or 1 packed of red/yellow/orange baby peppers
4 cloves garlic minced
2 chillis minced
1 bottle of tomato passata (500-700g)
2 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper

80g dry pasta per person (I used orechiette)

Method:
Add the oil to a large pot and heat over medium. Add the chopped onion and cook for approx 7 mins until the onion is translucent but not brown. Add the garlic, chilli and pepper and fry for a further 4 mins. Add the bottle of passata, salt and pepper and leave to simmer (you might need a lid for the pot as it might spit). At this point combine the ingredients for the meatballs and roll into balls approx slightly smaller than golf balls. (you have the option here to fry the meatballs before adding to the sauce - this will make them taste better but add calories). Heat a pot of boiling water, add liberal amounts of salt and add the pasta when boiling. At this point, add the meatballs to the sauce and turn the heat up a little bit so you have a nice simmer. Once the pasta is cooked, drain and combine with the sauce. Take a meatball out and chop in half to make sure it's cooked (when cooked they will feel solid and the interior will be a uniform grey colour). Taste the sauce and adjust for seasoning.

Serve the pasta with optional basil leaves and grated parmesan.

Side note: If you're not concerned about calories a way to make this sauce waaaay tastier is to add a knob of butter right at the end of cooking and add gratered parmesan to the sauce. Don't overdo it though as it will become too heavy. .

1 tbsp peanut butter or 2 tbsp peanuts
1 tbsp honey

For the soup:
0.5 tbsp oil
1.5 litre chicken stock
1 butternut squash peeled and chopped
200 ml light or regular coconut milk
300-400g chopped chicken (depending on appetite) (can substitute with cod, prawns)
Half a head of broccoli chopped 
juice of 1 lime
200g dried noodles

Method:

Add all the ingredients for the spice paste to a blender and pulse until a thick paste is achieved (add a dash of water if too dry). Heat the 0.5 tbsp oil over a medium heat and add the spice paste. Gently fry for 2-3 mins (and marvel at aroma) before adding the chicken stock and butternut squash and bring to a simmer. Cook for 8 mins or until the butternut squash is soft - at this point if you have a hand blender, blend the soup until all the squash is incorporated. Add the cubed chicken and cook for ~10 mins (depending on the size of your chicken), adding the broccoli 5 mins in. In the meantime cook the dried noodles according to pack instructions in a separate pan, drain and split in two serving bowls. When the chicken is cooked, add the coconut milk and lime juice, taste and add more salt if needed. 
Pour your marvellous soup over your noodles and enjoy!

Note: you can substitute the chicken with prawns or cod which is really nice and you could also add extra veg to the soup. .

Coat chicken with coriander, paprika and cayenne and cook for 25 mins in pre heated oven at 190 Celsius.

Chop up a small red onion, add half to the chopped tomatoes and half to a drained tin of chickpeas. Add parsley, lemon juice and salt to both.

Slice avocado and arrange on plate with scoops of the tomatoes, chickpeas and sliced chicken. Top with a spoonful of hummus and enjoy!

Dinner sorted - Spicy lamb meatballs with aubergine & chickpeas! This recipe is an absolute winner, pretty simple to make and can be found below 🌶️👇 Spicy lamb, aubergine & chickpea stew
Serves 3

Ingredients:

For the meatballs:
400g lean lamb mince (I used 10% fat)
2 minced garlic cloves
2 tbsp chopped parsley
0.5 tsp cumin
0.5 tsp coriander
1 tsp salt
Pepper

For the sauce:
1 tbsp olive oil
1 chopped onion

This recipe is an absolute winner, pretty simple to make and can be found below 🌶️👇 Spicy lamb, aubergine & chickpea stew Serves 3 Ingredients: For the meatballs: 400g lean lamb mince (I used 10% fat) 2 minced garlic cloves 2 tbsp chopped parsley 0.5 tsp cumin 0.5 tsp coriander 1 tsp salt Pepper For the sauce: 1 tbsp olive oil 1 chopped onion 4 cloves minced garlic  1 thumb-sized piece of ginger gratered 2 chillis chopped 0.5 tsp coriander 0.5 tsp paprika 0.5 tsp cumin 0.5 tsp sumac (if you have it in) 2 cans chopped tomatoes 1 can chickpeas 1 red pepper sliced 1 aubergine chopped in inch-sized pieces 1 tsp salt juice of 1 lemon Method: Combine the ingredients for the meatballs together and roll out into balls approx the size of golf-balls. In a large pan, heat the oil over medium heat, add the onion and fry for 7 min until translucent. Add the garlic, ginger, chillis and fry for further 3 min (while marvelling at the smell). Add the coriander, paprika, cumin, sumac, 2 cans of tomatoes and bring to a simmer. Add the lamb meatballs and cook for 5 min before adding the chickpeas, pepper and aubergine. Cook for a further 10-15 mins and add the salt, pepper and juice of half a lemon. Remove one of the meatballs and cut in half to ensure it is cooked through (should be a uniform grey and firm colour). Taste the sauce and adjust for seasoning. Serve with rice and greek yogurt! I ordered the 'hot chick' - buttermilk fried free-range chicken breast covered with their hot sauce, chipoltle slaw and pickles. The chicken was crispy on the outside, with just the right amount of spice and really juicy and tender on the inside. Really delicious and I'd order it again in a heartbeat.

Let's just take a second to appreciate that they also serve DIY cheesecake where you select the chocolate sauce to go with it and an additional topping (think oreo pieces, peanut butter pieces...). I'm going to have to go back with reinforcements and try it out!

400g turkey minceu
1 tbsp oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 chillis, minced
1 onion, chopped
0.5tsp cayenne pepper
0.5tsp smoked paprika
0.5tsp coriander powder
1 large chopped tomato
chopped coriander (optional)
salt & pepper
juice of half a lime

Directions:

Heat the oil over medium heat and, add the onion and cook for 7 mins until translucent. Add the garlic, chilli, cayenne, paprika, coriander powder and fry for a further 4 min. Add the mince mix and cook until the mince is cooked through (about 10 min) . If the pan is getting too dry then add a small amount of water. Add the tomatoes, coriander, lime juice and salt & pepper. Taste and adjust the seasoning and serve with rice and salsa!
