Cubes in Space mom and daughter day at NASA Langley Research Center- just too much fun! A visit to the Gantry where Apollo and Orion drop tests have happened, to check on the RB-3 payloads bring safely kept by NASA engineer Mark Thornblom - safety is always a high priority...best hard hat EVER. And no trip to Langley is complete unless you see the giant spherical wind tunnels.
@CubesInSpace office, the snow plow left a nice 5 foot high, 15 feet long "mountain" of snow in my parking space. :) It's a good day to tend to some clean up and housekeeping. Temperatures will finally get above freezing today!!!! And yes, that is a 3" layer of solid packed ice in the parking lot. Thank goodness this type of storm only happens once a year at most.
Love @Cubesinspace ? Want to donate to support us for FREE? - Yup - it's a real thing! Seriously :)⠀
As you are gearing up for the holiday season, we bet you are going to do a lot of online shopping. What if your online shopping could help to support Cubes in Space, and it would cost you nothing extra? Guess what - it can!!!!! ⠀
Yes, we are signed up for Amazon Smile and PayPal Donate. But we have partnered with a new company that creates Chrome extensions for non-profits that donate a percentage of the purchase price of items from 25,000 online retailers! And if you shop on Amazon, then we get an even greater percentage because they are one of the 25,000 retailers. Amazing, right? We think so! ⠀
It's super simple to load the extension. Select the link, load the extension (takes 2 seconds) and start shopping online from your computer. iOS and Android versions are coming soon. https://buff.ly/2z9Wbm9
