W.I.P.... What up guys!... So I'm not dead... Just been trying to figure out this mess that I've created!.. So where I left off last time on this fig was a big hole dead center of the abdomen when I dyed it.... Well from there, I tried to close the gap with a regular blow dryer--- failed instantly!... Blow dryer wasn't hot enough to get the plastic to bend. So out came my heat gun which I instantly regretted because it straight melted the f#%k out of the plastic and warped the hell out of it!... Right then I thought it was over - done - kaput! So I had no choice but to crack it open again...then extremely carefully used the heat gun and a hammer and screw driver rolled the plastic back into shape!... I didn't get it perfect... But I got damn close!... The White pieces you see on the sides of the abs are stip styrene that has been permanently bonded to the plastic with a plastic weld so now it's forever part of the figure to help with the structure to keep it strong!... And while all that was going on, I did a hell of a lot of fine sanding...so it should be pretty damn smooth...at least as much as I need it to be!... So... Back to the dye it goes... And this time I will dye the pieces separate and then put back together once they are in the clear!... That's it for now guys... Sorry it's dragging... I want this done just as much as you want to see it done! LoL

W.I.P... What up guys... So... I got some good news....and I got some bad news! Let's just start with the good since the bad news is devastating! As you can see, the figure is now dyed black!.... That's it... That's the good news 😒... The bad news is pretty obvious if you looked closely at the picture!.. So my dumb ass made the mistake of taking this figure to a simmering hot pot of water and dye and let it cook like it was new!... Which would have been fine if it was in fact a new figure!.... But this is not a new figure.... This figure has been through hell and back from all the work I've done on it --- for instance.... Gutting the inside and outside of the plastic by sanding it down as I normally do for my customs!... And because of that, it straight out warped the plastic for the abdomen and put a gapping hole right smack dab in the middle of the figure that holds it all together!!! 🤦... I swear guys... One step forward and two steps back!...I'm so frustrated and pissed I don't know what to think!.. I will tell you this though, ...I won't give up!... So back to the drawing board on how to properly get this fig back together and back on track!.. I'm so bummed right now, because shit was about to get good with all the Sculpting I was gonna start!.. Sorry guys.. we'll get there eventually... I promise!... .
