A huge accomplishment that I am most proud of was running in the Chicago Marathon this past Fall. While I didn’t achieve a PR (personal record) in my marathon racing, I DID grow as a runner and learned that my body is an amazing machine when I train properly. Running a marathon is much like having a baby, you have to give yourself time to recover before deciding to do it again 😉. I’m not saying that I’ll run another marathon (I’ve run 2) but I am saying that it’s not out of the question.
I am excited to embark on a new 10 week training cycle for a #halfmarathon in June and a few races sprinkled in between. Let the training begin!
