Finally back home today. Yay!
But so tired.
But that’s expected. Drove over 5,176 miles. That’s about 8,329 kilometers. 🚗
I know it’s nothing for seasoned travelers or the many truckers I passed (dammit how do they do it?!). But this trip taught me that we are capable of anything if we’re focused enough. To just keep looking ahead, ignoring all the obstacles.
In the span of a week, I got to experience the magic of #SequoiaNationalPark (it snowed!), then got to witness the sunset at #YosemiteNationalPark then got a chance to frolick on the shores of #LakeTahoe and coming back home, I also got to see the arid beauty of #DeathValleyNationalPark
It wasn’t easy, but I cannot wait to come back. 🤟🏻
PS these are some of the views while driving through #Nevada , #Arizona & #NewMexico 🌵
Since it’s #nationalparkweek , I’m going to use it to be overzealous and post another wedding photo because we were lucky enough to be married at @yosemitenps, which I happen to think is the most beautiful place on earth. Can’t wait till the honeymoon to check a few more parks off of our list! (Also just wait until all of our professional photos come back. I’ll be the most annoying ever). #FriendsOfParks#wegotmarriedBFD#yosemite#yosemitewedding#yosemitenationalpark
