Benefits of the pose:

Aujourd'hui était une journée magique. Mêler la pratique du yoga au chant, c'est drôlement chouette ! Et lorsque la co-animatrice est une amie, lorsque le lieu est idyllique et lorsque les participants sont de belles personnes qui osent se découvrir et se surprendre, alors la journée ne peut être qu'émouvante et ressourçante :) J'en ai eu la larme à l'œil !

Today is the final day of the yoga challenge #whatarechakras . Oh no!
As a final pose I have chosen lotus pose🧘♀️(padmasana). The lotus flower is associated with spiritual awaking and enlightenment. The lotus pose let the energy flow through all your seven chakras.
But, be careful! It’s an intermediate to advance pose. And if you have a knee injury or your knee hurts in this pose, please do half lotus pose or sukkasana.

I was originally going for a split legged arm balance but my body had other plans 😏
It’s definitely a work in progress, but considering that I didn’t even know this pose existed before trying it, I’m pretty damn astonished and proud of myself 💪🏽✨
Just goes to show, that listening to your body and following through with trust, awareness, and curiosity leads to new discoveries and rewards of self expansion, who would have thunk it 🤷🏻♀️
