Day 2: Float to tuck
I am super impressed with all the yogis joining this challenge! It's got me really excited to work hard on my floats and holding the inversion longer! This is my longest tuck hold, which is a great accomplishment for me!!! So inspired by all you amazing yogis!!! 🙃🙃

More from the haunted Belle Isle in Richmond, VA. 💀💀💀It’s been a whirlwind of a week, and it’s only Wednesday. I feel like the universe has been hitting me with setbacks, and I have no control over them. It’s been hard for me to come onto my mat, but I keep forcing myself to, because that’s where I’m able to feel peace. I just keep reminding myself that this is the universe’s way to keep pushing me to evolve and become stronger. It’s hard sometimes though, and anxiety is at an all time high. I will do better because I am a Viking, dammit.💀💀💀

My mediation spot 🌊 ☀️ Oh how I can meditate here for hours, getting lost in peace. listening to the waves crashing down, the sound of foot steps running in the sand , the sound of the ocean breeze as it presses against my face and the feeling I get when I feel the sun shining on me , and the love I receive from myself by sitting here experiencing all that’s around me. How grateful I feel that I get to sit here for hours and not get tired of the beautiful music I am surrounded by when I’m at the ocean 😊

2. Urdhva drishti in a modified #revolvedwideleggedforwardfold 😊 Finding that soft gaze towards the sky is easy with sunny days like these 😋 Yesterday I had 30mins to workout, and ending with a deep twist looking at the blue sky was so relaxing, that even if I was in a hurry I felt blessed and in peace for a minute 💙
A #drishti (👀 view or gaze) is a specific focal point that is employed while holding a yoga posture. When the gaze is fixed on a single point the mind is diminished from being stimulated by all other external objects. Thus, the use of a drishti allows the mind to focus and move into a deep state of concentration. Come with us on this exciting journey and deepen your experience using drishtis in your yoga practice! If you don't know any drishtis yet, you will get to know them all during this challenge. All levels are welcome! 🤗

I absolutely LOVE....kinda obsessed with, tree blossom flowers.... cherry, magnolia, & dogwood are my favs!! Their arrival means Spring is here & Summer isn't far behind!! 🏵🌸
My other favorite flower is the gerbera daisy due to the brilliant colors they come in! They also happen to be the flowers I had at my wedding, so they remind me of my hubby! Plus, they look cute in pots!! 🌼💙
