📷 @aransiapeters I've been contemplating posting this as I usually don't post stuff like this but it's a milestone in my life that I'm proud of and never thought I'd ever reach it. The photos above are my before and afters of my 4 month weight loss journey so far which started on 21st August 2015. I've lost 17kg in total. In the before pictures on the left I weighed just over 105 kg. The After pictures on the right is my current weight which is 88kg. I decided to stop making excuses and commit to start eating healthier and to also start working out regularly, as I had become so lazy and developed a love for unhealthy foods. I got to a point in my life where I knew that something needed to change and it was only up to ME to make that happen. I had tried many times to lose weight but I would always get to a point were I got unmotivated, frustrated and just quit. Finally I decided enough was enough and made fitness a priority in my life. This journey has not been easy at all, these been many up and down battles I have had to face and its definitely be hard work. A lot of dedication to committing to improving me & always stay positive and remembering the reason I started and that's what has kept me motivated. I’ve never felt better, and I can’t explain it. I still have a long way to go, but whatever weight I end up, is irrelevant at this point. I feel so healthy, and would love to continue on this path for the rest of my life. My advice to anyone on a similar journey is Don’t give up, trust me it’s worth it. 😊

SUMMER PIZZA FRIDAYS ☀️🍕 came home from work and made this green pizza for lunch. 2 ingredient dough (3sp), 2.5 tbsp @traderjoes green goddess dressing + 1.5 tbsp for drizzle (1sp), 3oz @traderjoes lite mozz (3sp) and some shredded chicken breast (0sp) for a total of 7#smartpoints 😋
🤷🏻♀️ Why is it when men get gray hair, it makes them “distinguished” or a “silver fox”; but when a woman decides to quit the high maintenance of coloring her hair and start showing her silver strands (that she earned from aggravating children I might add) she is asked “When are you going to get that covered up?” 😳 As always, I am marching to my own drum and putting my foot down on the society driven “rule” that women have to keep it covered up. I actually like my “natural highlights” and if you don’t.... well.... 🤷🏻♀️ #selflove
Yo. Folks. If you haven’t ordered yourself some @aldentepastaco carba nada you’re missing out. This pasta is delicious and lower in points. Today I used the garlic flavored. Oh. Em. Gee. (7sp) for 3.5 oz of dried pasta. I then added some chicken breast (0sp), and (1sp) of Trader Joe’s lite mozzarella. I also had some (0sp) unsweetened applesauce.
45 weeks ago on Thursday I started my journey for my brothers wedding, tomorrow is the big day!! I’m not where I wanted to be at, but I’m 34lbs lighter and looking so much better than I would have done if I didn’t join @weightwatchersuk I can’t wait to be all dressed and ready tomorrow and show you the final outfit! Pampering tonight with mummy & a large bottle of champagne 🥂
