📚 Hey all my bookmates, sorry to have left you waiting for so long!
I have been busy with studying for my finals, but figured I should try to blog once in a while, so I have made a new blog about the #LOTR books, if you're interested, check the link in my bio ;^]
☕ Also, how are everyone? What are you #currentlyreading nowadays? I am still stuck on #thebladeitself
You paint your lips pink and then wipe it off in a hurry. You wear the shorts your mother bought you, parade in front of the mirror for hours, but change into long jeans just before getting out. You wear the pair of heels you found at the bottom of your shoe stack, stare at your feet for hours, and finally change into sandals.
You back out. Every single time you allow your insecurities to convince you that you aren’t beautiful. But your fight isn’t that you aren’t pretty, it is that you aren’t confident enough to flaunt the kind of pretty you are.
Every single human being, although oblivious to the fact, is beautiful. You are beautiful without make up and fancy clothes and 6 inch heels. You are beautiful. But, beauty requires confidence. And that is what you need to work on.
So the next time you stand in front of a mirror don’t ask yourself if you’re beautiful enough to wear something. Tell yourself you are beautiful and then ask yourself if you have the courage to pull it off.
