the current religion in Sri Lanka is Buddhism, it is the religion of sun and light, I will call it so, the religion of joy teaches us to treat life and all life with the last smile. I once had a good experience. an elderly man died in the next house. his body was esteemed by his relatives, friends, neighbors and passers-by, it was possible to go into the house to the elders for three days and bow. no one cried, I did not see tears, lamentations, bitterness, I saw the usual course of life, children played and ran in this house, relatives treated to tea and rice, smiled, talked as usual, loudly, without taking voices. leaving a person is part of our life, it will happen, so why grieve, say Sri Lankans, smiling.
my friend told me that here and now you should rejoice and smile, because tomorrow you can not live, take everything from life now🙏🙏🙏🙏
A day late but it doesn’t matter because as far as I’m concerned, every day is EARTH DAY!! 🌏🌴🐥🌺🐬🌎
There are so many different ways that WE ALL can do a little to really help out a lot! One of them is recycling!
I’ve always been a massive freak about recycling! Like I’m so crazy to the point that I bring my trash home, even my shopping receipts just so I know it’s going into the proper bin. (Just ask my ex😂)
And if you’re wondering if I still do this while traveling, the answer is absolutely 💯fucking percent YES!! But of course, it’s not a perfect system & sometimes recycling is just not always an option😑!
So knowing this, I make daily conscious decisions to reduce/eliminate my use of anything plastic because I have seen first hand the devastating effects it has on our planet! Guys, it’s really that bad😞💔!
But that’s just me & there are sooooo many other ways we can all do something to make our world a better place! I’ve always been super interested in a more sustainable way of life, but now so more than ever! So guys, tell me. What are some of the things y’all do to live a more eco-friendly lifestyle?? (This isn’t a “call to action” question! I’m actually really curious & want to know more ways that I can continue to do what I can to make our world a better place☺️)
2years ago I crashed a motorbike driving in Koh Phangan Thailand. I was lucky walking away with only a few scrapes & bruises but my confidence was rocked. It’s taken me a few years but I finally got behind the throttle of a 🛵 again! Felt good😎🛣
