I often find myself not "loving" the body I have.....crazy to think when I look at photos like this, but it got me thinking of how often our minds see something completely different to what's in front of us!

Being STRONG, FIT & HEALTHY in mind and body is so very important to me.  So that I can be a role model to my little girl.  So that she can love the body she has and marvel at what it can offer her.

Obviously, I am NOT looking like this right now being 33 weeks pregnant, but I know that my body is incredible and will go back to being strong and fit when the time is right.  This pregnancy has been a massive struggle for me mentally.  The changes in my body have literally been painful and the mind challenges of "what if" have at times been debilitating..... If you are out there NOT loving what you have, you are not alone. It is ok to have "those days", but you also have a choice to become stronger through that doubt....to choose to be the woman you want to be in the eyes of your children ❤️ Today, I want to celebrate the creation growing inside of me, to celebrate a woman's body and what it can do.  Never forget, YOU are incredible and only YOU can choose to shine bright every single day xx

So I've been mixing "Hard" training styles(conventional strength programme) with "Soft" training styles(movement,core strength and joint stability). 😅 You know you can't beat "Strong" but i believe you have to be 'Fit for purpose" too, no matter what that is it will involve movement. I have been spending 30 mins on movement and 30-40 mins doing strength work. If you have one to one with me we will start incorporating this in as its important. A great example and an easy one to follow to start with is the below. Please go and try it you will get a great workout and your joints will feel like they have more movement after. We ALL have the ability to live with deep flow. ⠀
We ALL have the skills to move with ease. ⠀
And we ALL have the knowing of what alignment feels like.⠀

HOW?⠀
It comes from a deep sense of trust & knowing of Self and our body. ⠀
And like most things, that ‘felt sense’ is like a muscle that needs to be massaged to wake it up.⠀
It used to work for you. As children our connection to Self is strong, but over time conditioning and societies standards, experiences and the like prevent us from working the ‘felt sense’ muscle and so eventually it switches off and we continue to love through life.⠀
But then one day you hear about alignment or flow and you get curious. ⠀
You ask yourself what that feels like?⠀
How could you tap into that ease that you see others living? ⠀
And you already have the key. ⠀
It’s time to awaken your ‘felt sense’ muscle. ⠀

HOW?⠀
Start simply. ⠀
🌀Tune into the feelings in your body, or lack thereof. No right or wrong here, simply notice.⠀
🌀Take note of how you feel as you move through your day. As you visit places. Connect with people. How does each of these moments differ in feeling? Do you FEEL joy around certain people and places and not around others? ⠀
🌀How do you FEEL when you make decisions. Do they come easy or do you need to think things through? Simply notice. ⠀

Living in Flow is knowing how you FEEL in any given situation, around a certain type of person, being in a certain place and when allowing an emotion move live through you. AND then consciously choosing the path which brings you the most joy and alignment. ⠀

.⠀
And remember there can be FLOW in emotions that we don’t love too. Grief is a beautiful example. There is flow in honoring the deep sadness of grief and allowing yourself the time to heal. It might not feel like Flow but it is. ⠀
