For 20 yrs I have been drawn to Greece, and awaited the day for Hydra. An island that has called artists of all kinds. Yesterday when the Athens ferry was full, we went big picture, do it by road, no set back. #Kindness of a man at the port drove out of his way (3 hrs), farmer friends offering us to eat olives and taste the local oil, we spoke of a must to live by our #soul , that is what it is to be alive. These people we met took in 1000s of Syrian refugees, fed them, shared that life is to give, connect, we are all a people, idealism made real. To control, is against the way of life. The learning we all shared while hugging, shaking hands goodbye (as a little chartered fishing boat waited in the dark), is when at crossroads its a golden moment calling us. And stay with the abundance that is in all of us, not the small. My sister and I on the sea in a small boat .. ‘what is and just happened?’ I’m like ‘life, cracking us more open’. The dark of the sea, sliver moon and stars we breathed it in, in silence.
Humbling and touching this life.
