👩Alright, this post is completely dedicated to all the women out there who are looking to get that toned look.
🤔But how do we achieve that look that most women are so desperately chasing? Let’s first talk about what ABSOLUTELY NOT TO DO.
You see, most women think just pouring on the cardio will do the trick. This is the worst advice you could ever give somebody that’s trying to get “toned”. I’d actually recommend to do as little cardio as possible because it’s so time consuming and you could use that time making gains in the weight room. No you won’t get bulky. That’s legit impossible. You women don’t have nearly enough testosterone to even build 1/4 as much muscle as men do. Also, from the woman I’ve worked with in my coaching program I’ve seen a staggering amount of impatience, not sure if this is in women’s nature of what?... Stay patient my girls! Embrace the process.
SOOOO what you should you do? First off, lift weights, 2-4x a week should be good for most women, I have 2 female clients who lift 5x a week just because they want to! Oh, and train every body part at least 2-3x a week!
Track your nutrition, if you’re tryna lose fat, stay in a moderate deficit and lift weights, that will make you lose fat and build muscle if you’re new to lifting weights.
Sleep tight! You recover when you’re sleeping so please, make sure to dial in your sleep!! 7-9 hours a night and optimize sleep quality!
Lastly, like I said, embrace the process! This stuff takes time!!!!!!

I was never big on salads growing up. You know after you eat your big bowl of pasta and then mama says “Janine have some salad,” I never did. I thought they were so boring.
AND not to mention I hate most salad dressings.
But I’ve found a new love for salads (as long as they are packed with a lot of shizz)
When I showed my mom my salad from yesterday she said “you ate all of that?”
YEAH I DID, what of it mama?? I don’t just want lettuce and raw veggies, I need protein and carbs and fats all in one.
Her and my dad find it so comical how much Thomas and I eat.
Her parting words last night were “I’ve never enjoyed eating as much as I did with you & Thomas, you truly have a love for good food” and we do. We love to go out every now and then but we also love to cook. And we almost never turn down food when we’re offered it. FOOD IS GOOD PEOPLE, FOOD IS FUEL.

* To help with gluten intolerance, foods that are gluten-free have been considered.
* Your type of body tends to shed fat easily so a bit of healthy polyunsaturated fats have been added to your dietary recommendation.
* It may contain enough factory created free glutamate to cause a reaction (headaches, irritability, mental overstimulation) in highly sensitive individuals.
* It has a high glycemic load, too much of which may exacerbate acne.
* Small doses may not cause a problem, but it's natural fat content may contribute to a distended stomach, resulting in pressure on the esophageal sphincter and heartburn, bloating, gas, and indigestion.
* It is mildly acid-forming and may contribute to digestive problems if not balanced with other alkaline-forming foods.
* Sometimes the difficulty one has to concentrate is related to sugar imbalances. Reducing high glycemic foods can sometimes help stabilize mental activity and concentration.
* Often baked or fried at high temperatures which could reduce the nutritional value of the vegetable, especially if combined with polysaturated oils that oxidize at high temperatures, they may not be an ideal choice when wanting to lose weight. * If a diet has never been followed, it may be tempting to look in health food stores for what seems to be a healthy snack during times of cravings. Make sure to read the labels and avoid food additives or undesirable ingredients. * It naturally increases blood glucose levels which may pose additional health risks. * It contains fats that need to be reduced for effective weight loss and to maintain a healthy weight. Even if they are healthy fats, the key is to have a balanced diet and avoid excesses.
* It may be best not to have too much Omega6 in comparison to Omega3 fatty acids to help keep the circulatory system healthy.

This Double Chocolate Chocolate Chip Banana Bread is another variation of my OG low-sugar PB Banana Bread recipe. I know I’ve been sharing it a lot lately, but there seriously are SO many twists you can put on it depending on your mood/what your craving! 🤔
WHAT WENT DOWN:
• 1 3/4 C GF flour (I use @bobsredmill 1:1 baking flour)
• 2 whole eggs
• 3 ripe bananas (about 300g)
• 1 Tbsp coconut sugar
• 3 Tbsp @nunaturals Dutch process cocoa powder (or any unsweetened cocoa/cacao powder will work)
• 1/4 C (runny) nut butter of choice
• 1 tsp vanilla
• pinch of sea salt
• 3 tsp low-sodium baking powder
• 2-3 Tbsp unsweetened almond milk (add a little at a time to get a good consistency)
• 1/4 C @enjoylifefoods mini chocolate chips (plus more for topping 😉)
Mash bananas in a bowl. Add coconut sugar; whisk to combine. Add eggs, vanilla + nut butter; whisk again. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder. Add to the wet ingredients and whisk till combined, adding a little almond milk as needed to help it along. Lastly, fold in your chocolate chips. Pour into a lined loaf pan; throw the last few chocolate chips on top. Bake at 325 for 45-ish min, or until a toothpick comes out clean. When you remove it from the oven, sprinkle a few pieces of coarse sea salt on top for that extra little somethin’ somethin’. 👌
I served ours up with a few scoops of @halotopcreamery‘s VEGAN icecream (this was the Candy Bar flavor - gaaaah) + a little drizzle of @nunaturals chocolate sauce. Bc you can never have enough chocolate. 🍫
