Sunday breakfast time means pancakes and coffee 😊 chocolate buckwheat pancakes with cacao nibs 😊 - buckwheat/ wg spelt flour - 3 heaped tbsp flaxseed in the fridge with water - soy milk - cacao nibs
- 1/2 tsp stevia powder - little cacao powder
Topped with cashew butter, coconut, hemp seeds and cacao nibs 😊 nom
3 months ago, I was feeling really run down. I thought that I was eating healthy and I was exercising regularly but my weight loss had stalled, and I was tired all the time.
I was so depressed about my weight that I resorted to trying a fat burner combo that guaranteed weight loss, but all it did was make me feel sick every time I drank it and it made my heart pound. I lost no weight at all but actually gained weight! I was so depressed.
My skin was all blotchy and I just had no energy, basically I just felt blahh.
Then I was scrolling on social media, like you are now, and saw a friend of mine sharing how amazing she was feeling by making one simple change to her routine. I was curious, so she shared with me a simple and convenient way to flood my body with 30 raw fruits, vegetables and berries every single day.
What did I have to lose? I thought I would give it a go and see how I felt.
I was so surprised how great I felt after just 1 week on the product. My energy levels increased, and I no longer felt the need for numerous coffees throughout the day.
My skin has cleared up, my hair and nails are stronger, and I have more stamina for my HIIT workouts, so I am seeing a difference in my body shape and weight, in fact, I have lost 8 kilos in 3 months. WOOHOO!!!!! I am so thankful that I happened to stumble on that post 3 months ago.

NO-BAKE VEGAN BROWNIES:
➡️Blend the mixed nuts (i used cashews, almonds, walnuts) and dates into a dirt like powder.
➡️Add sugar free syrup or your preferred one to make it sticky.
➡️You can also add some cinnamon to enhance the flavour, increase antioxidant content and minimize the blood sugar response.
➡️Shape the brownies and add crushed oreo, and freeze for at least 2 hours.
Savoury breakfasts are the norm in Africa and many other countries around the world. Start your day with a this way and watch midmorning cravings disappear. Choose whole foods and you’ll get a steady release of energy throughout the day. You’ll most likely stay satiated for 4-6 hours at a time depending on your portion size.
If you worry about feeling sluggish, cook your food without oil. Research shows that fatty foods cause your blood cells to stick together, slowing blood flow and causing you to feel tired and fatigued after such meals. I’m not saying you shouldn’t eat any fats at all, do so but in moderation and in a way that works with your body not anyone else’s.
Don’t want to eat this for breakfast, well then eat it for lunch or dinner 😉
I have brown rice, my signature Chickpea stew, this time cooked with aubergines for some veg action 😊 I’m having a much smaller portion of rice than usual because I felt like stuffing some wraps with chickpeas too.

🌱EARTH DAY🌱 I have a new blog post up for Earth Day!🙌🏻 I mention a few big and small ways we can all lessen our environmental footprint.🌍 In this beautiful world we live in we are unfortunately surrounded by so much consumerist culture that I truly believe we have lost sight of why we are here. Don’t get me wrong, I am no expert on the meaning of life, but I definitely know the meaning of life is not to harm our planet for our own vanity.🥀 Would it not be incredible if our generation could start changing the way the world operates and leave the positive message with our children? We do not need to eat animals to be healthy, it is exactly the opposite, and we do not need to give our money to top branded stores and synthetic makeup brands to be beautiful - by doing these things we are destroying our planet and leaving none of it for future generations to enjoy.😫 Should we not rather be living in harmony with all the other incredible creatures placed here with us? Rather be focusing on our internal beauty instead of chasing an impossible perfection created for us by the media?
