Whether it’s shooting work for clients, by yourself, or with a friend, always keep shooting and creating.
For the last few months I’ve been in a bit of a mental/creative slump. Not quite sure what direction I want to go in with my photography career both with my photographic work and with the business side of things. I’ve had some amazing opportunities to work in all forms of photography from documenting expeditions, to weddings, concerts and even the @bacheloretteabc Canada. I have a lot of big decisions to make in the next few months, but one things for certain I’ll always have some type of camera in my hand to document he world around me 📸
So last week I got accepted onto my masters course for after my degree and then today after months of doing a temp promoted post in Auchinairn I managed to get through my interview without losing the plot and got a permanent senior post 🎉 been a challenging few months at work but I have loved every minute of it and honestly put my heart and soul into Auchinairn ELCC. So excited for the future and going forward as senior I can’t wait! My day topped off coming home to these beauts and treated to dinner from Mr Ross ❤️ They say good things come in threes 🥂...... #promotion#permanentjob#earlyyears#lovinglife#happy#masters#whatnext
I’m the proud owner of one of these and I can drink all the bubbles I like BUT I still can’t help but feeling a little deflated. Is it usual to have such a big come down after a race?! I worked so hard for this medal I should be feeling on top of the world. My emotions are still all over the place and I’m currently googling “will my husband let me run the New York marathon?!” The mission for a sub 4 marathon continues... #marathon#marathonrunner#whatnext#londonmarathon2018#runningmum#womensrunningcommunity
Now that London Marathon is done, I thought I’d create a separate running account so as to not bore all of my personal account followers. So here we go! Maybe I won’t retire. 3.58 marathon PB... I’m chasing you. #whatnext#running#newchallenge#newpb
#ad When I was away at the weekend I just kept thinking how much the boys would LOVE Northern Ireland. Hands up who else does that when they’re holidaying without their kids? 🙋♀️ There really is no OFF button is there 🙈😂.
I now can’t wait to take them, and with flights making holidays so expensive as a family of four, travelling with @poferries is such an affordable holiday option for us. Plus no strict luggage allowance, if it fits in the car it can go, which makes my indecisive soul happy 😆.
It’s also how I managed to bring back this wooden armour as a gift for them from Dunluce Castle. It seemed like a good idea at the time, until they started whacking each other with wooden swords 🤔😬 #youwererightgrandma#POFerries#WhatNext
