Training w/ the #arctrainer 💪🏽
going to start posting my workouts on this page so you guys have an idea of what I do at the gym! I give certain muscles rest days or just a full on rest day so they can heal but for the most part I like to do lots of cardio plus moderate weight training. For the past few months I’ve been hitting #cardio hard but now I am going to focus mainly on my strength. 😅So I add resistance on this for 30-45 minutes then I go on with weights. I usually burn around 400 calories doing this. Then I go home & make sure I have a good high protein meal/shake. I’ll be posting videos of weight training very soon ♥️💪🏽

In preparation for our upcoming Wellness Day at Discovery Lane, the Piccolo class created a healthy snack called No Bake Super Food Oatmeal Balls. Each kiddo was able to perform a step in our recipe instructions and also tasted some of the ingredients we used.
Old Fashioned Oatmeal
Days like this are made for TACOS! 🐟 FISH tacos! Who likes using Bibb lettuce as a shell? I love the texture and flex of this lettuce and have found the key: double up.🌿🌿 (View next photo). This ensures that your shell doesn’t rip and dump all the goods out. This lettuce came from our local @scappoose_grocery_outlet !These fish tacos were made with Dover sole. This mild, thin filet cooks up quickly with some seasonings in a pan. Whip up your fav salsa... this one included mango, cherry toms, avocado, parsley, a splash of lime juice, garlic salt and black pepper. (Third photo beauty shot). And bam. Buenos Tacos!🌿Funny story...back when I lived in Southern Oregon, I had a few raised beds. I planted all sorts of vegetables, one of them being rows of little Bibb lettuce seedlings that grew into gorgeous purple-green globes. They grew and they grew; beautiful and defenseless... and fenceless. They were JUST about right for harvest, but not quite. I waited one too many nights and 💥💥💥 my green delight became the perfect salad bowl for the meandering deer. And oh baby did they eat. They ate well. Really well. 🦌
Wrapping up my 2 day cellular cleanse and I’m feeling great! I’ve been in much need of a reset lately and I know this is the absolute best way to get all the toxins out of my body! It’s NOT easy to be a mom and a business owner and things will always come up. You gotta stop to kiss an owie or quickly send an email in the middle of breakfast. I’m constantly torn between the two.
Today I realized that I just have to LET GO sometimes. Go with the flow and count my wins- no matter how big or small.
We may have been more frenemies than anything today and I might not have gotten to do more than a few deliveries today, but I got to have my little love by my side and he sees me working hard and loving him through it all.
I’m grateful for the flexibility, and more grateful for such a great sidekick. I’ll take that look on his face as an indicator that we’re doing just fine.

If you guys haven’t tried the “Veggie Made” products by birds eye I highly recommend you do so! Especially for people who have a hard time digesting vegetables. I make my own zucchini noodles whenever I can but these bags of pasta pop right into the microwave and are made from real veggies (plus they’re gluten free!). For this meal I used the spinach and lentil noodles, ground turkey, and alfredo sauce. Great for a quick, easy, and healthy dinner after a long day 👌
