You may have noticed my new hashtags and weighed food amounts here this week. Like many I’m struggling to get the last 30lbs off! I do and will always support a whole food plant based diet, however I am not seeing results with an “eat all you want until satiated” vibe and even within the plant based weight loss programs that I have tried to use to break my plateau with such as: McDougalls Max Weight Loss, Meal Mentor, Eat to Live, etc. I know these programs hold extreme value and have helped so many, but for me I have found that I need way more limits with food or I overeat and remain at the same weight! That’s why I have gotten on board with the Bright Line Eating program where I can still eat Whole Food Plant Based and put limits on my food such no sugar and no flour and meal portion guidelines. My social media account will remain dedicated to weight loss encouragement, raising my family in a wfpb way, making recipe videos for wfpb eats and discussing all things mom life. So with that means I may post BLE no compliant food I’m making for my kids or family so please if this bothers some of my new followers, feel free to unfollow as I don’t want to cause anyone to slip up on their journey, nor do I want anyone assuming my home is sugar and flour free.
