Every time of the year here in New Zealand has a season of kinds, we are fortunate enough to have many options here of which the majority are free for all.
My philosophy is to go hard enough at each given season until you are looking forward to the next one.
Summer for me is fishing diving and gathering a few meat animals. Autumn is a pretty special time, the Red rut followed by Sika. Now it is Duck season followed by gamebird and chasing a few winter deer around. The next season is work for a few months 😂 then do it all again!
