I'm becoming less and less tolerant of toxic people, excess stuff and unnecessary chaos. I just want to live surrounded by trees, water, wildlife or pets and happy people!! And I don't think that's too much to ask for 🤓#simplicity#minimalism#nature
PARADISE IN PUCÓN
SCROLL ⬅️ LEFT to see all photos...
Today I experienced one of the most incredible places on the planet. The TERMAS GEOMETRICAS near Pucón, Chile, may be my favorite travel experience yet!
—Imagine walking on a red wooden boardwalk through a JurassicPark-esque rainforest with 8-foot leaves, alongside a rushing stream with moss-covered boulders as you meander for half a kilometer up through a fern-covered canyon lined with 17 crystal-clear thermal pools of all sizes, shapes and temperatures... until you reach a plummeting waterfalls!
—That alone was enough to literally take my breath away, but then I was certain we had found paradise in earth as I immersed myself in steaming hot water for hours while floating on my back under canyon walls and ferns dripping cool refreshment on my face. This description is pathetically inadequate to describe the heavenly relaxation and perfect zen-experience of this day... the 20th of April in Chile... a country I have fallen in love with in less than a week.
TRAVEL TIP - USE TRIPADVISOR: Whenever you go to a new place, google “best things to do in... ——-“ and read the reviews to learn details about what things to do. This is how our daughter, Rachel, found TERMAS GEOMETRICAS.. which is rated #1 of things to do around Pucón, Chile. Then be one of those lovely people who leaves detailed comments to help others learn how to enjoy the amazing experiences this world has to offer. Oh and don’t forget your camera... to capture it all! In this case I wanted to enjoy nature and my family so I only hauled in my iPhone X... which did a great job of capturing the sights, sounds and video of this place, without distracting from the experience. —
