Lights are just hundreds of colors I am told, and it is easy to be blinded by all the treasures we hold.
I get up in the mountains, I get up high, and I take a look around before it all passes by.
I’ll keep it on my heart, I see it in my dreams, and I’ll tell it to the cities, and their big city schemes.

Since it wasn’t raining for the first time in days I decided to go out for a walk last night. Was good to get out of the house & just enjoy the fresh air for a bit. Working on getting back on track & back into my walking routine.
Also got some nice shots of the sun as it was going down.
It was a long day, work, haircut, Chinese food for dinner... but ya boi is STILL on that 100 putt grind baby! I got NO chill. I'm trying some new things and I'm determined to be ready by the battle of Seattle!
Say hello to the most delicious saffron dessert - originating from Persia its called a makhloot with falood noodles. This was the final delicious treat on the Middle Eastern Food Pilgrimage tour I enjoyed last night with Frying Pan Adventures.
I was part of a small group of enthusiastic and hungry tourists who were lead around Old Town by the very passionate Nahla Al Tabba. She is a pocket sized ex-Jordanian who's now living in Dubai. Her knowledge of where to eat and experience Emirati food is vast. And it being the tail end of Ramadan we ate late. But wow - did we eat!
With a walkie talkie headset attached, so we didn't miss any explanations and stories, Nahla lead us round the streets of the Old part of Dubai, to places you wouldn't know about in a zillion years.
We tried the freshest felaffel ever, watched an expert chef they call Abu Amr make a cheesy dessert popular in Palestine and Oman then sampled his creation (incredible.) We tasted Egyptian street food (kusheri) that we were sure we couldn't fit, in but somehow managed to because it was soooooo good!
If you're after an authentic, immersive, local Dubai food experience, then check out @fryingpanadventures
BUT turn up with an empty tummy, it won't be by the end of the tour!
