So I don’t usually share my “grocery haul” but I have had regain like everyone else will eventually after WLS. I’m 3 years out and my lowest weight was 150 which was probably about average but I looked skinny. Right now I’m at 179. I’m not sure if that’s good or not, I have been overweight since I was 9 so I still see myself as “fat”. But the pounds keep coming so I need to get back to basics which I’ve been working on and then had surgery which threw me off the last week or so. I’ve been thinking about what I did in the beginning that worked and it was preparing my snacks and my lunches ahead. I know this isn’t news to most people but it’s the little things that I’ve let go of that worked for me the most so back to basics for real!! And I saw these skinny sticks and they are yummy!! So all my snacks have been portioned out along with my snap peas, eggs are boiled, and healthy snacks are first available in pantry and fridge!! #backtobasics#vsgeats#vsgcommunity#vsginstacrew#timetodeflate#wlseats#wlscommunity#foodtracking#protein
Today’s lunch 🥙 nothing fancy just some good old chicken and veggies.
Used: chicken skewers from Costco ♥️(already cooked 👍🏻), some frozen veggies (cuts down on chopping time), and threw in some raw Yellow Zucchini (3 sliced pieces) and Red Onion (2 thin sliced pieces).
Cooked it all up in a pan with a little bit of olive oil.
I probably won’t be able to eat all of it but damn is it good. #2monthsvsg#vsg#vsgeats#vsgcommunity#wlscommunity#vsgmeals
#bighairdontcare on our way to pick out tile. Inside scoop: I just had 1/4 vanilla #premierprotein shake . I feel so nauseous right now. It’s hot outside and I feel like milk is curdling in my tiny tummy. Trying to see if this passes. I want to enjoy my outing and be productive. I will reach for the #isopure on hot days though.
Dinner tonight! I ate everything. Except a couple small bits of broccoli that I shared with my dog. I made lite smoked sausage with Stamppot, which is Dutch! It's kale mixed with mashed potatoes. So tasty!! And it's an extra veggie serving too. I probably shouldn't have finished most of the broccoli though, I feel a little full. But I really needed to get some more veggies in. Sometimes I feel I really struggle with knowing when to stop eating. It's a lifelong journey...
Went to the gym for the 2nd time in 2 years today. Due to: having a baby, surgery, car accident where I broke both ankle and he 2 compression fractures in my back. How could I forget lifting is my favorite thing in the world?
