Don't give me free reign on a tub of @woolworths_sa triple caramel ice cream, it WILL be consumed rather briskly.
I want to allow myself to have the treats I love every now and then, but not feel like I'm depriving myself.That's why I enjoy making healthier versions, that still hit the spot, to have on a more regular basis.
BLUEBERRY AND SPICED VANILLA NICE CREAM BARS:
BASE: •3/4 cup almonds
•1/4 cup desiccated coconut
•1 tbsp pure maple syrup (Blitz and press into a tray, bake at 180°C for 20 mins- let cool) .
NICE CREAM 1:
•1 cup frozen banana
•3/4 cup blueberries
•juice of 1/2 lemon
•Coconut milk to blend .
NICE CREAM 2 :
•1 and 1/4 cup frozen banana •Coconut milk •cinnamon, mixed spice and ginger •vanilla
Layer it and pop in the freezer, drizzle with v. Dark choc .
It's a great way to use up bananas that are about to go off and they're vegan💃! @goodroots @omniblend

Fresh veggies! Now a days they are visible only in festivals or farms not in our home. We are far-far away from the era where we used to cultivate food crops and veggies, which lost by the evolution of ready to eat culture. I think it’s time stop, It’s time to go back. •

Happy Monday! Had a nice lunch break at a new lunch spot in @sofamarketsj ☺️ My lemongrass chicken rice bowl was yummy and staff was very nice, but FYI service is just a tad bit slow for the dtsj lunch rush (understaffed) and it took a while to get my food so not good if you’re in a rush!
