2 weeks into the cut and down 5lbs! Feeling good and strength still hasn't been effected. Doing singles here, then finished with a 5x5. 455 lbs @ 170 lbs. 2.7 times my body weight :)

I want to allow myself to have the treats I love every now and then, but not feel like I'm depriving myself.That's why I enjoy making healthier versions, that still hit the spot, to have on a more regular basis.

BLUEBERRY AND SPICED VANILLA NICE CREAM BARS:

BASE: •3/4 cup almonds
•1/4 cup desiccated coconut
•1 tbsp pure maple syrup (Blitz and press into a tray, bake at 180°C for 20 mins- let cool) .
NICE CREAM 1:
•1 cup frozen banana
•3/4 cup blueberries
•juice of 1/2 lemon
•Coconut milk to blend .
NICE CREAM 2 :
•1 and 1/4 cup frozen banana •Coconut milk •cinnamon, mixed spice and ginger •vanilla
Layer it and pop in the freezer, drizzle with v. Dark choc .
It's a great way to use up bananas that are about to go off and they're vegan💃! @goodroots @omniblend

Happy Monday! Had a nice lunch break at a new lunch spot in @sofamarketsj ☺️ My lemongrass chicken rice bowl was yummy and staff was very nice, but FYI service is just a tad bit slow for the dtsj lunch rush (understaffed) and it took a while to get my food so not good if you’re in a rush!
One of my favorite meals of the day is breakfast.
Not only does it break the overnight fasting period but it also gives you much needed fuel to start your day (👋 hey busy moms - I'm talking to you!!) I love this super easy Instant Pot Oatmeal recipe! I usually lean towards the regular, unsweetened oatmeal because I try and stay away from all of the refined sugars, so this steel cut oat version is my happy place.
You can also store it in fun Mason Jars for an easy grab-n-go meal in the morning. Just add a little milk, heat, stir, and enjoy!
I consider this to be an ultimate power food. It's loaded with all kinds of goodies. Protein, fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, iron, calcium, and is excellent for your digestive health.
