Put granola on my porridge today for the first time, which was a very good decision💁🏼‍♀️ in other news, I didn’t get the job in Camp that I interviewed for yesterday but it turned out it wasn’t what I thought at all, and I kind of started hoping that they weren’t going to offer it to me as it really wasn’t the right job for me, so it was probably for the best that I didn’t get it in the end. I’m still staying posi though and putting out good vibes etc, as I’m still deffo going to go to a camp as a counsellor, I just haven’t found the right one yet😌 putting out negative thoughts and feelings will only ever attract negativity back into my life, so I’ve gotta keep positive, hopeful and keep trusting that the universe will bring about the best opportunity for me, and that I’ve got myself into a place where I can accept any opportunities that come! I don’t want to come across as  really spiritual and stuff, as I’m actually a v logical person (hence my love of science and maths lol) but I really do believe/follow the Law of Attraction and honestly think it makes sense and works🌏💫 anyway, I am sorry for another long and rambly caption but thank u if u read it😌 hope you all have a lovely day!

Feeling pretty down today... yesterday I was out doing a gentle recovery jog from the weekends race when pretty suddenly I got a really intense pain in my right foot (lateral arch) to the point where I couldn’t even walk properly 😢 with ice, elevation & rest I thought it might be better today but it looks like it’s going to be a trip to hospital for me! Ojjj, tak nechápu, kde tahle kráska byla, že jsem ji neobjevila už dřív. Tohle je přesně můj šálek kávy! Taaak křupavá, plná ořechů, vloček, datlí, chia semínek a rozinek. Baví mě, jak je to vlastně strašně jednoduché, ale o to ještě lepší, bez umělotin nebo tak. Věřím, že tohle nikoho neurazí. Jak obal píše, hodí se snad he všemu. A k mému překvapení má i docela dost bílkovin. Tyjo to snad vypadá, jako bych za tuhle chválu byla placená haha. 😅#kéžby

There's just something about strength training. Everytime you walk up to a piece of equipment that object stays the same but you are the one that has changed.

In this instance it's the most loved item in the gym - the sandbag. I used to struggle to pick up the lightest bag but now I can do it without breaking a sweat 💃

Also, my last few posts have been pretty emo and that's okay. I went through a tough period and now I'm seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. I am appreciating all the lessons it has taught me about myself.

Tldr; I'm learning how to grit & commit 👷 (easier said than done for someone who has always given up when life gets hard)

I've been tracking my weight changes since I started eating a more wholefood #vegan diet and being more active. Before that, I ate meat and dairy, ate hardly any refined sugars, drank about two bottles of red wine a week, walked 40 minutes to work and back each day, did a lot of walking at the weekend and did some core workouts about 3 times a week. I was gaining about a stone a year.

After changing my diet and increasing the intensity of activities, I started losing weight straight away.
💃🏻
A few months in, the trend line was beginning to climb back up, so I started logging calories to see what was going on. This gave me better understanding of how weight loss works, and I immediately started to lose weight again.

I've been doing physio since finding out my knee was too wobbly to run the Edinburgh #marathon, and I haven't signed up for a new marathon yet as the physiotherapist is still worried about my knee.

For now, I'm only supposed to run 4 miles a week (down from about 35 miles a week), so to keep my fitness ticking over, I'm going to be visiting the gym most days to do some #rowing, #cycling and #weights! 🚣🏻‍♀️🚴🏻‍♀️🏋🏻‍♀️
I'd like to try #swimming but I can only do about half a length before drowning🤦🏻‍♀️😂

50g DRIED CHERRIES 🍒 
X1 teaspoon of cacao powder
X2 teaspoons of desiccated coconut 
X4 dates
X3 tablespoons of almond meal
X2 tablespoons of LSA 
X2 teaspoons of rice malt syrup
X2 SCOOPS OF CHOC COCONUT @blessedprotein_ausnz ➖➖
METHOD; 
Combine all together in a blender or food processor. Add a dash of almond milk to keep moist 👌🏼. Once all blended roll into bite size balls and dust with shredded coconut. Then refrigerate ✨. MAKES APPROX x10 BLESS BALLS! .

LET’S TALK GREENS 💚💚💚|| If you’re the type of person that struggles to get in their daily greens, I feel you. Smoothie bowls are a great solution for this because you can blend in several serves of greens at once, whilst also enjoying the sweetness of ripe fruit and your favourite toppings! 🥝🍐🍏|| This particular bowl has two cups of baby spinach and a full serving of greens powder, making it jam packed with antioxidants and micronutrients that help to alkalise and cleanse your body. Currently dreaming of these healthy peanut butter protein pancakes 💖💖. The recipe for these is two posts back except I replace 1/4 cup of oats with 2 heaped tablespoons of vanilla protein powder! Because then you can eat them every single day and not have a single care in the world. These pancakes are essentially my morning oats in pancake form and oh my god, they're so good. 🌸 PANCAKE MIX: First blend 1 and 1/4 cup oats with 1 tsp baking powder. Add 1/2 spotty banana, 1 tbsp vanilla essence, 1 cup plant-milk and blend further till smooth. 🌸 Dry-fry each pancake in a non-stick pan for 1 minute each side. 🌸 Finish with your favourite toppings! 🌸 CHOC SAUCE: Mix 1 tbsp raw cacao powder with 2 tbsp coconut nectar in a bowl. Add water until it is the desired consistency. || #vegan #veganpancakes

RAW VEGAN STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE 🍓🍓 || Since the new year is just around the corner, I thought I may as well get started on my resolutions ASAP. As a massive sweet tooth, I find it pretty hard to turn away treats - especially since I work in an all vegan cafe! While some people may be able to cut sugar out completely, healthier alternatives seem to work the best for me as I don't feel like I'm completely missing out. The thing is though, raw treats aren't too kind on the wallet! So to kickstart the new year, I've decided to commit to making my own desserts. This one turned out amazing and was a lot of fun to make too! 🌸 BASE: Blend 1 and 1/2 cups raw almonds with 20 pitted medjool dates. Press the mixture into the bottom of a lined baking tin until flat. 🌸 BODY: Blend 2 cups raw cashews (soaked) + 1/3 cup organic maple syrup + 1/2 cup coconut oil + 1 tbsp vanilla essence + 1/4 cup water. Once smooth, add 2 cups of fresh strawberries and blend. 🌸 Freeze for 2 hours. 🌸 Top with fresh berries and serve immediately or move to fridge to prevent freezing.

Just a little reminder to everyone that it's absolutely okay not to feel 100% all the time. Exams and work have really gotten me down this time around, causing nothing to be done around the house and my exercise to fall flat. On top of that, my diet was completely out of whack and I had an awful cold. Today I decided to turn that all around and focus on what really matters - mental health! Cleaning the house today has left me with a clear head, and fuelling myself with fresh foods has gotten me feeling a lot more energised. Having a day away to focus on what makes me feel good has been a definite blessing. If you're ever not feeling great, take a step back and slow down. Your body and mind will thank you for it! || #vegan
