we cannot achieve peace in a world where people take pride in killing other creatures. only when we acknowledge that we hold no more value than other animals can we even begin to move toward true peace. there is nothing about humans that gives them the right to destroy the lives of millions of animals. we must heal the wounds that we have caused; become gentle and truly compassionate. we must show this earth and her creatures eternal love. we must stop killing and start healing. we must put an end to glorifying the killing of animals. we must talk about it as it truly is, a horrifically disgusting and entirely shameful practice. we must right the wrongs that we have done to the animals, and we must heal their wounds. only then can we create a world thrumming with peace.
Just because something is vegan, doesn't mean it's good for you. Most processed foods contain many chemicals and are made with the lowest quality of food to increase profits. These companies generally use GMO ingredients and a bunch more things you probably don't want to know about... 👀
We know one of the hardest things about being vegan is knowing the reality of animal suffering but still seeing others contribute to it.
But we also know that it can be a challenge to find vegan products. So we're bringing the best vegan products into one place. #vegan beauty, fashion, food and household. #myveganmart
And hopefully the easier it is to be vegan, the more people will get on board. #veganshopping
Real carnivores’ jaws move only up and down, enabling them to tear chunks of flesh from their prey. Humans can move their jaws up and down and from side to side, and we also have flat molars (which carnivores lack), allowing us to grind up fruit and vegetables with our back teeth like herbivores do.
You can’t tear flesh by hand, you can’t tear hide by hand. Our anterior teeth are not suited for tearing flesh or hide. We don’t have large canine teeth.
Is your third eye chakra blocked? The third eye is our intuitive center! If this chakra is blocked you can experience an inability to focus, procrastination, migranes, and indecisiveness. We rely on our intuition to help us navigate our lives, and it is so important to have this chakra in balance to receive messages from our guides and angels, and to trust our own intuition. You can balance this chakra by eating more purple foods (plums especially!) and buying purple crystals such as amytheyst, or purple labrodorite! If you feel this chakra is out of balance, message me and we can set up a Reiki session! ✨💜Happy healing!

To celebrate Earth Day, let's do the bacon math.
Each slice of bacon is associated with 1 POUND of pig poop*. There are about 18 slices of bacon per pound.
Based on manure-specific weight to volume conversion, the poop associate with a 1-pound package of bacon would fill this 5-gallon (20L) bucket almost to the top.
Think about it before picking up a package of bacon. Would you like to pick up that bucket full of poop too? Where did the poop go? Whose drinking water did all the antibiotics and e-coli end up into? What rivers, estuaries and seas are now dead zones because of the excess nitrogen?
The pound of bacon costs $5. The lives and delicate ecosystems destroyed by it are priceless.
Love the Earth? Please share. * Calculation based on 10 pounds of poop per day per pig, over the course of a pig's roughly 6-month life, with about 20 pounds of bacon produced per pig. About 0.83 pound of manure per litre.
We're not telling you to go vegan, but GO VEGAN!
But seriously, animal agriculture is single-handedly the most harmful and toxic industry on the planet bar none, leading to dead and polluted waterways, greenhouse emissions/global warming, huge amounts of packaging, deforestation and so much more - PLUS, it has been scientifically proven that many modern diseases, including obesity, heart disease, diabetes, high cholesterol, skin conditions and cancer can be directly related to a diet high in meat and dairy.
By reducing your meat and dairy intakes - and that includes fish - you are not only saving the lovely animals, you are also doing a massive amount for sustainability, reduced waste, saved water and forests and your own health!
Pick one day a week to go meat-free - even just for one month - and see where it takes you. And when you do buy your meat, go to a butcher or farmer's market - the difference in quality is incredible, and you'll massively reduce your waste and food miles.
