Throughout the years, one important thing I’ve learned about myself is this: I need time to rest and reflect after any big event. 🙏🏻
This is clearly my introverted self shining through but the way I best show up for others is to make sure I’m showing up for myself first. This was never the case for a long time but I’ve realized that my energy and mindset matters. After an exciting day yesterday, I spent my Sunday resting in my robe and doing my best not to get sick. I celebrated a little too much last night but feeling grateful for the time off to recharge today. Enough about me, what are you doing with your long weekend ?🌟
Lunch was some purple sweet potato fries dipped in mashed avo with pepper flakes and dried basil! I seasoned my fries with my usual, favorite combo (paprika, chili powder, salt, and garlic powder) but this time I also added hemp seeds for some extra nutrients. Such a satisfying meal. And sidenote, I had some crispy roasted chickpeas as well but they didn't make it into the photo.
