Sometimes when we hike we tend to keep our eyes down on the trail to ensure solid footing and safe steps. We often need to remind our family to look UP! 👀 This incredible view is from the Hickman Bridge trail 💙
Horse Thief.... The stallion in the back of the group was not protecting the mares from a rival, he was the interloper. The next photo is the stallion who lost the group watching as they are escorted away. He made a valiant effort to get them back but he was still on the outskirts when I left.

We are all so interconnected. Regardless of arbitrary labels like introvert or extrovert, demographics like age, body type, career, instagram followers, stage of life. It’s all so relative and so unimportant when you remember that we’re ALL just doing our best to balance and do life. We all just need each other.
On our #rjywomensretreat , we practiced this balance - first alone, and then leaning on the many different women (most of them strangers) around us. We could have held this balance forever because we held each other.
Sometimes we would wobble or sway, sometimes our balance was shaky at best, but always, the strength of the person next to us kept us standing where we would have fallen standing on our own. We could allow ourselves to lean on them, because they could lean on the woman next to them, who was leaning on the woman next to them, who was leaning on the woman next to them - and on and on. One safe, expansive circle.
People need people. What can your presence offer the people in your circle, even when you’re shaky? How do you want being next to you to feel? We’ll be exploring that idea tonight in class. 🧘🏼♀️ 7:15pm. Bring a journal and your soul-searching pants! 📸: @adrianwaymentphoto
This beautiful Earth that we have, this gift that the Universe has given us is precious beyond measure, precious beyond imagination, and we are part of it and we must treat it with Love, respect, and reverence.

Chasing Rays / I was feeling pretty weathered from camping in the wind and rain, I almost didn't roll out of my sleeping bag. You can see why I did! What a view! My wife and I were a thousand feet up on the cliff watching the sun cast rays of light across Glen Canyon and Lake Powell.
