Today’s workout wasn’t feeling too great😅 Squat Opener felt okay with 435lbs on the bar. Then worked up to Bench Opener at 255lbs...I just could not get my butt to stay on the damn bench today 😭. The next few days I’m gonna work on cueing to push my butt into the bench, but I guess we’ll see how it ends up this weekend lol. Finally a RPE 6 Deadlift to close out the night at 495lbs. I only have one more light squat/light bench session on Thursday and after that it’s pretty much up to the Barbell Gods to bless me with fortune 🙏🙏🙏

Omg today’s deadlift sesh went SURPRISINGLY well considering, I hit a ton of volume of squats a day before this and my right hip was a lil funky 🤭. Hit a smokin hot top single at 5 blues @RPE 7.5/8 give or take, then died from back off sets of 3x6 with 435/437, first set only did 5 cause no oxygen in the brain 🧠🤷🏻‍♂️ and then 2nd set shown. Came up with @tamaralifts2good @antomibui @skieubear @oookylem @theofficialjaviercalleja to the new iron club, which I wanna give @getrichardietryn a huge shout out for letting all of us lift some iron 😘. Lots of us hit some good numbers too which was pretty dope. -🎥: @tamara2good ❤️

I NEED A DELOAD WEEK 😭😭😩😩 I planned suuuper poorly and havent had a deload week in over 2 months so my body is extremely fried. On top of that i havent gotten a monthly massage like i usually do so my muscles are aching bad and are super sore. 
Still going to max May 1st but im by no means 100% right now, in all honesty i should have done it a could weeks ago i think i peaked maybe 2-3 weeks ago
Anyways light shoulder and back workout today (And yes that clicking noise is my shoulders, dont worry it goes away once my joints are nice and warmed up)

Had a rough start for tonight's workout after taking a week off. I was suppose to do 3x10 on squats, but after my first set I immediately had tightness on my right hamstring. @pvstrong_aep decided to have me work on 5x5 so I can at least put some volume in. For deads, I wanted to emulate coach's lockout by locking my knees more as well as using my hips when on top. Still a work in progress, but I'm overall content with how everything moved tonight. @dropitlikeassquat thank you for recording my set gym bff ☺️

I took some time off from all social media because I was lacking motivation to train and I was having some personal problems regarding nutrition and my relationship with food.

I noticed that I would stay on track with my calories and macros 6 days a week but my progress started to stall in terms of motivation, pump, and strength.

Main reason of this was due to underrating and doing too much exercise. What I noticed in the last few weeks was that because of me eating too low of calories, I would be super hungry all the time and have a full blown cheat day the 7th day of following my diet throughout the week.

While having cheat days and meals are great for some people, including myself, I noticed that I eventually began to under eat on purpose to eat a lot on that one day.🤦🏽‍♂️

So no wonder why my training sessions sucked every day before my binge because there was no gas in the tank to run the car 🚙

So by taking a week off from all social media and reducing my training to just BJJ and conditioning work, I soon realized that I kinda had this binge eating problem. And I started to take steps into getting back into training and my mass gaining phase to keep progressing.

First I’m increasing ⬆️ calories to fuel my training and growth.
Second I’m not going to do full blown cheat days anymore because for the most part I will be satiated and I will be flexible.
Third I’m still going to train HARD AS FUCK.
This is my approach to help recover from my mini disorder. And I’ll still keep everyone in the loop about what I’m doing as well.

I’ve been having left knee pain and knee valgus the past weeks with squats so it’s vital I take the weight down and focus on technique and getting my glutes stronger. ▶️ I did a good amount of hip abduction work as a warm up then 5x8-10 on squats. Form looked a lot better! ▶️ I focused on not over squeezing my glutes on the start of each rep and being aware when my knee wanted to cave in to push out. .
