A year ago, Sam Darnold was going to be the best quarterback in this class. But now, due to excessive turnover issues, bad decision making, and poor play under pressure, Darnold slips to the 5th spot. However, he clearly possesses potential, and so he stays in the top 5. Darnold: 2nd round grade. #nfl#nfldraft#nfldraft2018#uscfootball#samdarnold
The NFL draft starts on Thursday 🙏 and @samdarnold is projected to be a high pick on everyone's draft board. So how did a normal SoCal boy end up here? Through working hard and devoting himself to athletics. Using the skills he picked up in baseball/basketball and his natural motivation to get better, Darnold is now projected to be the future franchise QB for many teams. But do you think he should go number one? (📷: @uscathletics)
A TBT & Happy Birthday to the GREAT Troy Polamalu!!
@tay.80 has been a trusii client for just about a year, and during that time we've learned just how dedicated, hard-working, and persistent this talented young man is. Moreover, we have been particularly struck by character - his honesty, his reliability, his heart, and his resilience.
••• As a breakout player in his sophomore year and a true star in his junior year, he recorded 86 receptions for 1,114 yards and nine touchdowns in 2017, earning 2nd team All-Pac 12 honors. Deontay has the agility, size, speed, mental toughness, and intelligence to have a major impact with any team in the NFL.
We are proud to welcome Deontay to the trusii family!
QB BATTLE - To be honest, neither Fink or Sears truly impressed. Both QBs struggled to deal with the pass rush and had inconsistent ball placement. They each had their moments, but those moments weren't enough to separate themselves. While Sears has the bigger arm he's struggled more with accuracy and both quarterbacks threw numerous interceptions and couldn’t consistently make the right reads at game speed. Sears certainly has more arm talent, but it's simply far too erratic at this stage. Fink has shown off his”veteran” knowledge, makes quicker reads and currently holds a small lead in the race but JT Daniels has been watching from the sidelines all Spring... P.S. if you haven’t noticed already, posts aren’t going to be nearly as frequent as before for the off-season but we are planning to pick it up again once the season nears. But of course, we will also be sure to post if anything major happens in this period and give our insight or opinions. In the meantime, keep fighting on✌️
