I am in love with this post totally 💕..This makes me remember that the sky has indeed been the friend we don't really pay attention to but who's always there to help us whenever anything goes wrong and someone who's always there to play a part and mould well with our emotions ❤️ #Repost @pritamsahaig (@get_repost)

There was fire on my walls. I had been holed up in my dark little room, chasing the eternal corporate deadlines that disciplined my life. Time flies these days, and one day blurs into another. The heavy blue curtains had always been exceptional at their job of guarding against the harsh light of the North Indian day. But they had faltered today. May be they got dizzy with the mid-day heat. The sky is my muse. She drips into my pupils when I least expect. And here she was seducing me with her sumptuous light of red and gold. She drew me to our favorite part of my abode, the tiny balcony with its fifteenth floor views, and asked me if I remembered?
Yes I did. We had grown up together, through endless childhood summer afternoons spent in a tiny dark room in the terrace of my parent's house. The hours would pass slow and lazy, gazing up at clouds billowing into countless shapes - known and unknown. She will play around the eagle's wings, while they circled without purpose in the heat of the humid Bengal summer. And then as afternoon would approach, she would languidly seep in through the ventilator in the same shades of supple gold and red, tracing her path across the walls. Afternoons spent reading and being Poetry together. Yes I remember!
I don't make time for her anymore these days. But she shows up uninvited nonetheless, like sudden nostalgia, to remind me of simpler times spent watching fire on my walls.
Today was quite an average day not too boring but also not too exciting. I did a tarot reading for my friend before school but the bell rudely interrupted us so we didn't get to finish, I didn't get that much of close look at the cards and now it's bothering me because I want to know what they were. I had a double lesson of Maths, double lesson of Chinese and a normal lesson of English today followed by a rather interesting game of soccer in the afternoon. My school participates in inter school sport where you essentially play games against different schools in the sport that you had selected. I had selected soccer this term, there was a amazing 4 options for our grade so really I didn't have a choice. Anyway we had to play this team of boys, they didn't have a girls team, and we were in for a surprise. During the second half of the game one of them literally caught the ball with his feet did a front flip, still holding the ball, landed and another player came in and effortlessly kicked it. That wasn't even the best part, their school's other team was playing on the field right next to us so one of their players from the other team mid match literally just came in and started playing and I was like well that was a turn of events. Actually reading what I just typed it doesn't sound as funny but at that moment I was dying of laughter. How was your day? Any good? Any bad? Okay? (P.S: do you like my new profile picture? You helped me choose it on my story)
