Elsbet 2018: a unicycle weekend in Liechtenstein and Switzerland. I'm collecting my stories from this weekend into a single highlight. Check out my profile if you want to see all the Insta-stuff from the weekend.
I'm too tired to write in detail right now, but let's just say that the Alps are amazing, and so is the organization crew for this event. I want to come back already. ❤️
1: @linussholmbergs broke his old wheel, replaced already and he has a new very fresh setup!
2: @michaelbachleda is close to squeezing four flips into one 540 unispin 😓 #keepitup ! #fresh#unenews

🕣Often we think of culture as something that happened a long time ago. It needs to be deeply rooted in history and be accepted by our peers to count. We say, culture is forever evolving, growing and being created. From the shoulders of the old, stands the new.🏗
Get out into your city, embrace the culture that came before and use it as inspiration to create the new.🏛

The skill of getting up on a unicycle without any support is called free mounting. It’s a little like learning how to do a freestanding handstand. It takes an incredible amount of practice to get the feel for it. And even once you do, it requires even more practice.
While riding a unicycle is super fun, much of my practice sessions look like this. Attempts at free mounting over and over and over and over again. #keepingitreal
