Über die Bixby Creek Bridge, die schon so manchem Film als Kulisse diente, geht es weiter entlang dem Highway 1.

Über den Dächern Santa Barbaras!
It’s amazing how a structure can make you feel such awe. I am a bookworm, ever since I was a child I loved reading books. As an adult I’ve gained much appreciation for what books can do in our lifes 📚
Being inside a place with such history where books play the lead role filled my heart with happiness 😌
Traveling comes hand in hand with surprises and the unexpected. What’s great is feeling at home someplace else. Like this instant inside a library 🤓
Personal goal for us: never stop learning🖊
Spending #FlowerFriday reminiscing on when I finally got to see cherry blossoms in SF
From I-70, I saw the church with a fascinating sky around it. Even though I was very anxious to get home, I had to stop. To my surprise, the beautiful images were in the cemetery behind the church.
Brattle Book Shop’s origins date back to 1825 when it was built in the Cornhill section of Boston, later called Scollay Square. By 1949, it was set to go out of business. George and Dorrit Gloss, newly married and deeply passionate about books, pooled their resources to buy half interest in the shop for $500. A year later, they were full owners and parents to a son, Ken, who currently owns the shop. Housed in a three-story building in the heart of Downtown Boston, The Brattle Book Shop carries an impressive stock of over 250,000 books, maps, prints, postcards and ephemeral items in all subjects. In addition to its general used and out-of-print stock, The Brattle Book Shop also maintains an inventory of first editions, collectibles and fine leather bindings in its rare book room. It spills out in an alleyway for an open air market feel as well. It was probably good that it wasn’t open when I went for my pocketbook plus carrying around the books on the Freedom Trail didn’t sound too fun either. Next time. 📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚
Now it is time for me to get back to some enjoyment reading during this long weekend. 📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚
