Thank you @turnersparks @closeschaef and @gustate for having me on your killer show at @nycomedyclub and for leaving me alone in the green room so I could take this awkward photo. Everyone check out #KungFuKomedyNYC at #NYCC ! #comedy#standup#kfknyc
Check out how many readers we had at the El Cajon StoryTent yesterday! Studies show that reading often has more influence on a child’s attainment in life than socio-economic status or having a parent with a degree. We’re proud of these families for making reading part of their regular routine! 📚 👨🎓 (source: OECD & London Institute of Education)
Have you heard of 'Forest Bathing'? A Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku is all about being with trees!
Such a beautiful thought isn't it? ❤️ Surround yourself with trees, greenness and peace!
While having conversations with @rajeshmkurpad at @sholaashack , our usual spot was the big balcony right next to the reception. We sat there for hours, the 3 of us. Spoke about forests, peacefulness watched fireflies move, come closer to us as they know we are not a threat! ✨Sitting there and admiring the forest led to this conversation of 'forest Bathing'. Rajesh told us all about it and it just got registered somewhere very close to our hearts.
Our trips have always been about getting out of the city and experiencing wilderness and relax.
Dont we all feel comfortable around trees?
This eco therapy helps in reducing stress harmone production and improves the feeling of well-being.
After all, we all are looking for the same thing isn't it? A feeling of well-being! Feeling of being peaceful, relaxed and happy? Roaming around the forests with this perspective is something else! 🌲
@willmeara I think you understand me! 😇
@sholaashack @rajeshmkurpad thank you so much for introducing us to the concept! 😇 Grateful! .

HAPPINES WAS SO CLOSE. Part 1.
It's the story of one guy, i heard it from my friend, and now I'll tell it for you.
Photo was made in Russia.
As the opening of the program of international adoption, the children from our orphanage began traveling to different parts of the world. That was a huge chance for every children's home, the opportunity to get into a better life.
A month ago I was told that a couple from Australia is ready to adopt me. There was no limit to my amazement that day. "Who needs a ragamuffin from Russia? Is there not enough there own?". Nevertheless, I was very glad that it happened. Documents and suitcases were collected, there was one more small thing: to buy something as a gift for new parents. I wanted to bring something typically Russian: "Lapti or balalaika - can not get it. Caviar or Kamchatka fish? But they also have an ocean. Maybe just Russian vodka? Yes, they are adults, they should appreciate it."
To say that I was worried at the meeting is to say nothing. The fear of creating a bad impression and not justifying the expectations of these people was so great that I forgot the words. My hands sweated heavily.
On the threshold I was met by very nice people. They also worried, but in every possible way tried to hide it, interrupting the awkward silence with questions about Russia. Despite this, every minute I felt that I will be happy there and we will have a great bright future together. Finally I will have a family, dad, mom. Thank's!
However, the second pancake was a lump (Russian idiom).
In the morning, a new mom went to work, and the new dad, having stayed with me, decided to try my Russian souvenir for better relations. Father overdid with drinking and to the return of his wife was pretty drunk. Before my eyes, turned, unfortunately, is a typical scene for our families.....

Day 11. We can feel our bodies growing stronger each day. Out packs are feeling lighter (30kg between the two of us?) and we are picking up speed but the nonstop rain today was a real mental challenge. We felt wet (even with all our waterproofing!) cold and tired and by noon were already looking forward to the end of the day. For lunch we kept walking to find some shelter from the rain, but that was like mission impossible. At the end of the day, we arrived at a lovely home, where our host cooked us dinner and told us memorable stories from the 1000+ pilgrims who have walked these same roads before us, including of one woman who traveled alone to Rome in her wheelchair. There are so many stories hidden in these paths- can't wait to hear more and add our own. .
리나가 자고있어요! 한국어는 아침에할개요!
Day 12.

Last time when I talked to him, he broke up with his girlfriend. And works at university in Azerbaijan.. I'm studying civil engineering in Europe, Lithuania, Kaunas. Today visited Poland. Still hate Warsaw.. Not drinking tea with milk for a breakfast... I'm not drawing after university, I'm not drawing something cute. Because I'm not drawing at all now. For weekends not going anywhere.. Just cleaning my room and sleeping. Relationship status same as his. Something went wrong.. My dream life and my current life are so different. I'm not saying my current life style is bad but could be better. I don't know why I wrote it but guys never say "wtf? Never!" And always be friends with your English teachers.. That's the coolest thing in the world 🤗 and I miss that days so fuckin much.. Hope we will meet again, drink some cocktails (ohh, because I'm older now), and dream about things which will not happen, so I can write a small text again. One more thing, now I'm not talking about my future at all so search for a way, and bring some tissues with you so I can cry about my problems, this time problems are not about listening or reading, this time they are way serious. 🙋♀️
*thanks for attention* *for the first part read previous post* ♥️
