Sara Mack was born to be an event planner. It was my great fortune to have her as my Day Of Wedding Coordinator. She was way more than “Day Of” from the very start. She went above and beyond to make our wedding the best day of our lives- and I assure you that she succeeded. She took the messy plans and ideas that we had for our wedding and put them together into an absolutely incredible event. She made it OURS. Sara cares deeply to be sure that your wants and needs come first. She will take your vision and make it into reality. I cannot thank her enough for her invaluable expertise, professionalism and kindness. Our day wouldn’t have been complete without her help. You will not regret asking Sara to plan your event!!! -Leah McSwain
Last night I hosted the #CSRShareday Twitter chat organised by @positiveimpactevents to promote sustainability within the events industry. -
The topic was good health and well-being and I was delighted to see the positivity and engagement on Twitter with this topic 🍏
I picked one favourite Tweet from @beckyjdempsey sharing great tips how to give back to the local community. -
@weareintheevent added that they make sure that they don't leave trash after the event, and are as "green" as possible!!
@helenvbrady suggested to have fresh & healthy menus, dedicated space to switch off and think or reflect, green initiatives.
Thank you everyone for the fantastic chat and you can read the full Q&A on Twitter. That’s motivating to see this engaging and positive attitude towards personal health and well-being! Only when we are healthy then we can ensure the health and well-being of our guests and clients #eventprofstalk#CSRshareDay 🌱🌎💚
Discussion between CEO T-Systems Adel B. Al-Saleh, Project Owner of the Telekom/Setlog Use Case Dr. Karsten Schweichhart and our CEO Ralf Duester discussing the value of data sharing and usage in global supply chain
This impressive drink dispenser is sure to wow your guests. It's elevated base is textured to resemble slate, elevating the dispenser so glasses can fit under the spigot. Both elegant and practical. Buy this at Crate and Barrel and wow your guests.
Had the most amazing and inspiring day at London Stationery Show. Here are some things I learnt/spotted (in pictures):
Unicorns are still a stationery trend (not for By Hand Stationery though)
Tape is apparently the new paint
Paul Antonio aka @pascribe is still the best teacher (and calligrapher) ever [I did a residential class with him 5 and a half years ago]
Giant versions of pens and pencils are cool
Envelopes.co.uk have over 4000 types of envelopes
Wabi-Sabi is a trend (sorry unicorns, wabi-sabi gets my vote)
You get given LOADS of freebies to play with
