What has had the most profound change on my business in the past 6 months? Cutting my online time ⏲ (especially my social media time dramatically). When i say dramatically I completely deactivated facebook, deactivated my main 16k yoga IG account and try to only spend a MAX of 15- 20 min a day on this account between posting, stories and reading other posts (mostly done waiting in lines or for appointments). 2017 statistics show the average person spends 137 min a day using various types of social media, that doesn't include other time online. I fell into the trap of feeling I HAD to use all social media channels to promote my business and be sucessful when the truth is many of these outlets weren't bringing in more business and actually stealing valuable time from listing and research in my day (cause let's be honest ..we go on to post a promotional update for work and then get sucked in to reading other stuff frequently). Some people may have more free time ... but as a mother of 2 busy teens and also running a house hold my free time is limited and time is money 💱. My sales have doubled since cutting my social media time and I know it's no coincidence as 5 min here 5 minutes there adds up and my time for listing has grown (and I wasn't spending nearly as much time using social media as alot of people). An added bonus is that mentally I feel so much lighter not seeing so much drama, negativity and just things that make my headshake. Everyone needs to do what's right for themselves and their business ... but evaluating what social media and how much time you use it is really doing for your business is worth a moment of reflection 💡.

I give people LOTS of chances, and am often too nice, which gets me into situations where I am taken advantage of. After dealing with a bunch of BS with one person I was trying to work with since July, I have blocked his lying ass and need to move on. No more chances, no more trying to get a crook to respond to texts, because it has only upset me. I don't need the stress! Snip snip, motherf+$#er !!!!!
