#Thermomix#Anzac biscuits! Who doesn't love these? Crunchy around the edges and chewy in the middle. But what I love most about these biscuits is how quick and easy they are – no refrigerating the dough, rolling or shaping with cookie cutters. You can have a warm cookie in your hand in less than 30 minutes. Perfect. We'll be baking these for Wednesday! Recipe page 202 of 'Everyday Thermo Cooking'. xxx

New green smoothie success!
I normally make any from scratch at home but decided to freeze some ingredients first to prolong their life, have them on hand when needed and have them colder too!
Frozen spinach, kale, mint and apple in a smoothie shaker. I got it from the freezer and filled it 3/4 with water, added a frozen banana and tablespoon of natural yoghurt.
Into the thermomix and BANG! Done and dusted and the kids loved it!
Yay! 🍃 🍃🍃 I’m currently trying to give them green smoothies daily as putting meat and 3 veg on a plate just doesn’t cut it 🙄🙄 I secretly sit back and laugh when they think they’re getting a smoothie when they’re gobbling up spinach 😂😂👌🏽👌🏽 #wellplayedmum

Did you know you can make your own bath salts in the #thermomix ? These are such a thoughtful gift! And really cheap to make. We've got a free recipe on our blog for these 'Sleepy Bath Salts' 😴
2 tbsp dried lavender flowers
200g Himalayan salt
200g Epsom salts
200g bicarb soda
75g citric acid
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp lavender oil
1. Place lavender and Himalayan salt in TM bowl, mill for 5 seconds, speed 10.
2. In a small cup mix together olive oil and lavender oil.
3. Add Epsom salts, bicarb soda and citric acid to TM bowl, mix for 3 seconds, speed 5.
4. Continue mixing for 1 minute, speed 3, while slowly dripping oil mixture in through the hole in the lid. Mixture should be well combined, resembling damp sand.
5. Scrape down sides and mix for a further 10 seconds, speed 3.
Transfer mixture to airtight glass jars or canisters and gift.
Bath salts are one of our favourite homemade gifts as it gives the recipient an excuse to take some time out just for them and to relax. We’ve got plenty of lavender which promotes relaxation and sound sleep, Himalayan salt to detoxify, Epsom salts which offer a big dose of magnesium to calm, bicarb soda to sooth and smooth skin and olive oil to moisturize. Taking a warm bath before bed also helps to promote deep sleep, as the body cools down it mimics the natural temperature drop when we fall asleep.
All the ingredients except the lavender flowers can be found at the supermarket which is super convenient! Make a batch for someone you love, and a second batch just for you. Add a cup to a hot bath, relax and soak for 30 minutes.
I have a business trip coming up this weekend so the prep work begins about two weeks before as I start cooking and freezing for my family. I love using @skinnymixer recipes as they are not only healthy & super tasty but the recipes also make big batches in the @thermomixaus so I have plenty to freeze. This one is a fav in our house #chickentikka 🙌❤️🙌
Who wants one of these!? 👋👋👋 Peanut butter choc pops 😍 Recipe page 215 'Everyday Thermo Cooking'. Promise they are aren't as complicated as they look - everyone knows what a lazy cook I am! If I can do it (and can be bothered doing it!), you can do it xx

Never really been a fan of mussels cos of their texture, but found a kg at the Farmers Market on special so thought I'd try something different and see how I go making chilli mussels. Tweaked the #thermie recipe as it was a little too plain.. added extra 🍅🍋🌶parsley, chives, cornflour and onion. ✔ of approval from hubby, will probably make again 😍 🍽🍞
Not only will this spatula change your life because your #Thermomix will love it, but it will also change the lives of so many people who are currently living in poverty.
We’ll donate $2 from every limited-edition blue spatula sold to The Hunger Project! It’s a win for everyone. But get in quick, we don’t expect these to last long, and this colour won’t be repeated.
Corinne gave this product 5 STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and says "These are so so so good! And I love how if you use them 'backwards' they scrape out every delicious morsel from the bowl. I have several and I have given them as gifts as well." 🌍 And we ship WORLDWIDE 🌎 It doesn't get much better than that!

WOW - what amazing feedback on our latest cookbook 'Everyday Thermo Cooking'!. If you've been wondering whether this book is for you, hear what Laurie has to say: "Hello!
I just wanted to give some feedback on your latest book, "Everyday Thermo Cooking". I have to say, I am super impressed. Simple, tasty, quick, my kind of food. No fuss and yet so tasty. In fact I thought at first, maybe they're too simple. They're not. They're packed full of flavour, healthy and nutritious, and I now almost shop exclusively to make most of my mid-week meals from your book. I absolutely love the korean ribs and the lamb shoulder with salsa verde. The moreish meatballs are to die for. My husband loves the apricot bites and I adore the cookie dough balls. So many recipes yet to try but I am enjoying every single one I have cooked so far. You are to be commended for your hard work and dedication to producing such excellent recipes that most people can achieve easily in their own kitchens, without sacrificing flavour, and using fresh produce. Well done to you and your team. I look forward to the next book! (May it have more of the same! 😉)" Thank you so much Laurie, and you've hit the nail on the head with our food philosophy - super simple recipes using fresh ingredients and without sacrificing flavour! xxx @penguinbooksaus
It's a known fact that most sauces in a jar purchased from the supermarket are loaded with additives and preservatives.
We love creating additive free recipes of favourites for everyone to enjoy.
This butter chicken is always a winner in our house. It’s tasty, simple and a real family favourite! If you like it a bit spicier just add extra chilli, but we like it as per the recipe below.
You may like to serve it with some homemade naan bread – yummo!!

I’m always fascinated with thermal imaging, when applied to humans, it shows us that every organ in our body represents itself on the skin surface. While the body is somewhat asymmetrical, I’ve typically witnessed that thermal patterns are symmetrical unless inflammation or a thermal anomaly is present... that would then involve a Dr. to help diagnose. I’d highly recommend having your thermal image taken, even if you are perfectly healthy because then you’ll have your baseline thermal-gram. Our bodies are such fascinating miracles. #seetheheat#flir#thermalimaging#thermalimage#xtflir#thermie#thermalgram

No doubt about it, #thermomix and thermo cookers make life in the kitchen quicker, easier and much more enjoyable. However, like so many new technologies, without the know-how your thermo cooker may end up being nothing more than a glorified dust catcher. If you aren’t using your thermo cooker at least once every day, you need to rethink your strategy - not only is this a financial waste but a wasted opportunity! So, I've written my tips for getting the most from your thermo cooker on the blog - check it out now www.alycealexandra.com #thermielife
