Let us introduce you to our ginger pearl, Floor! She’s a very cheerful and smiley collegue. 
Floor often fills the position of ‘annonceur’. This means that she ensures the smooth running of the service and calls out which dishes go to which tables (which exceptions / special diets...). She’s responsible for the communication between the restaurant and the kitchen, which means that she sometimes needs to tame our boys from the kitchen team.😉 It’s a very important function that requires stress resistance and organizational ability.

Cheese aged to perfection. We work together with cheese master Van Tricht who is widely known in Antwerp and Belgium. The cheese master and his son Frederic have opened a cheese shop in the former bottling plant of De Koninck brewery and we are practically neighbours. What can we say about the quality of the cheeses? The cheeses speak for themselves. These cheeses are purchased directly from the manufacturers throughout Europe. One of our chef’s signature dishes: hopshoots with langoustines. Hopshoots briefly blanched, then quickly glazed in beurre noisette and beer, freshed up with lemon and a hollandaise sauce made with beer and veal jus. The langoustine finished with @royalbelgiancaviar , emulsion of mushrooms & @stbernardus triple and different forms of jerusalem artichokes. We pair this dish with a Belgian beverage, one of the best Saison’s on the market: the mildly-hopped, creamy and richly floral ‘Saison’ from Danny’s brewery Brasserie Fantôme in Soy. When @nickbril got his first big break as a chef he and @sergioherman gave me my first big break and the opportunity to design a unique table knife for their new restaurant. Since then Nick got his first and then 2nd Michelin star, had a couple of babies, became a successful DJ, did a bunch of other exciting culinary stuff, traveled the world and now he has his first book coming out about his 33rd year on this planet. I, however, only had 1 baby and made a few knives but @thejaneantwerp table knife became our best selling knife by far and is now presented on the tables of some of the worlds best restaurants. I’m happy we got to collaborate again and I think this new knife has a shot at being one of our best yet. You’ll see it in a couple of weeks. Love you brother.  #Repost @thejaneantwerp

When @nickbril got his first big break as a chef he and @sergioherman gave me my first big break and the opportunity to design a unique table knife for their new restaurant. Since then Nick got his first and then 2nd Michelin star, had a couple of babies, became a successful DJ, did a bunch of other exciting culinary stuff, traveled the world and now he has his first book coming out about his 33rd year on this planet. I, however, only had 1 baby and made a few knives but @thejaneantwerp table knife became our best selling knife by far and is now presented on the tables of some of the worlds best restaurants. I’m happy we got to collaborate again and I think this new knife has a shot at being one of our best yet. You’ll see it in a couple of weeks.
