The new garden decoration is going into the fields tomorrow! We are going for that ancient Chinese vibe. He is the terra cotta garden advisor. Come speak with him on Tuesday and Thursday harvest hours, he will be wandering throughout the farm #terracotta#gardendecoration#farmadvisor
Part 2 of Exploring Xi’an, China
The Terracotta Warriors Museum of Qing Dynasty. The 1st pit was originally discovered and informed in 1974. The first pit covers >14,000 sqm, fitting >300 warriors. The location is still an active excavation sites, uncovering tombs of the King King and graves of the terracotta builders.
I have this #africanviolet right in front of a West-facing window and gets a lot of direct evening sun. It seems to like it, and the #terracotta pot. It seems to me that giving it violet fertilizer is worth the effort to get those lovely flowers. I give it a thorough watering when dry to the touch (good general watering advice for most plants). It seems to do a lot better in terra cotta than in a plastic pot... 🤔 #purpleflowers#violetviolet#violet#africanplants
Well, adding the gold was a bit messy but totally worth it for the amazing pop of color. This piece was so much fun to work on and I can’t wait to show it off at my final on Wednesday ❤️ #terracotta#cone04#pottery#coilbuilt
Reshuffled my plants around, decluttered my wardrobe and took a trunk load of things to charity. Tidied up the desktop on my laptop and organised my hard drives. In cleansing mode, making space for a new phase to manifest.
Remember there is #life in unexpected places. I found this little #lizard in the bottom of one of my unused #terracotta pots in my front yard. I’m glad it’s a home to something even if it isn’t a plant.
What’s not to love about terracotta planters, cacti, pebbles, and a public holiday tomorrow!💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼

Love, love, love this pic from @thelittleplantshop 😍
All clayed up! Bit of fun on the last day of Clay Gulgong, We had less than 1 hr to come up with a design for the parade, using terracotta, black and white clay slip. Our fabulous team made fantasy phoenix's rising from the ashes of the wood kiln, the awsome Mark and Rhee modelled like pro's!! Cardboard beaks dipped in clay, twiggy bird claws and a feather boa up the bum... good times!! 😂😂 All hand painted - literally!
Also shared the 'stage' with a hilarious bandaged and beaded character , 'Mother Earth', and a beautiful ANZAC day tribute to the Indigenous people of Australia by Virgil Ortez, a First Nations artist from the US. #clayslip#claygulgong2018#clay#madpotters#terracotta#goodtimes
