Today I got to cozy up in my Reading Corner and test out my lap desks as my student teacher led the day! No wonder the kids love using the lap desks so much, they're amazing! Although the kids get to do much more fun activities, I was stuck with a mountain of data input!
Monday maternity leave contemplations. With the amount of construction people who drop by this is actually a genius suggestion. Hope all of you lovely ones who are still functioning and making contributions to society today had a lovely day at work 😊I’ll be sitting here in no pants 👍🏻 RG: @damselfly_official
✨Pentecost Art ✨
Following out Pentecost liturgy this morning we dissected the significance of fire and wind in the story which highlights the birth of the church. Students then compared and contrasted the story of Babel with the Pentecost story. Following this amazing dive into Pentecost , students created their own wind whirl or tongue of fire and wrote words associated with these two elements. These included destruction, new life, powerful and eternal . They did an amazing job and they look fantastic!
This is my own behaviour management system that l use in the class and can be adapted to any school award system 🌈I move each students name to the level they work towards or need reminding of. This allows students to see there own level of success of behaviour in the classroom 🌟 Superstar level leads to a draw at the end of the week using a random name selector program from @teachstarter. The kids always question me about the orange level 😂 #behaviourmanagement#teachersofinstagram#superstar#rewardsystem#teacherlife#organisation#positivereinforcement
