Dining al fresco at D’Vine. || #mycityfullerton || My kids love the small bites they give before your meal. It’s house-baked pita chips and a dry, spice blend called za’atar made of thyme, cumin, sumac, sesame seeds and more. It’s super aromatic and has positive affects on your attention span and focus if eaten in the morning (says the waiter 😉) I’m lucky the kids love to try all kinds of food and have found this. We’ll be making a batch at home.
#mealprep failed to happen on Monday again 🤦🏻♀️. Well, part of it happened Monday night when I made the marinade and pre-chopped all the #veggies 🥒🍅 The marinade and #recipeinspo comes from #jocooks who is quickly becoming one of my fav food bloggers for delicious recipes! I swapped out the oil in the marinade for fat free #greekyogurt and let it sit overnight. I’m not gonna lie, the #tabouleh recipe was sort of me just winging in. I ended up using #traderjoes fully cooked frozen organic #quinoa because it was easy peasy! Threw in a generous cup of fresh chopped parsley, cucumber🥒 and tomato🍅. Dressed with half a lemon juiced🍋, 1 TBSP of olive oil, splash of red wine vinegar, a clove of crushed garlic, sprinkle of dill, mint and salt to taste. Not gonna lie....it’s delicious and wasn’t that crazy to make! I added a serving of my most favorite #wegmans#hummus ever!! Also added a #flatout fold it because I am ravenous from my #ampcycle class this morning. Ate some of it free form/salad style🥗 and dipped the wrap, then made a small pita filled with it all mixed 🥙....it was a #flavorexplosion for sure!!! This is easily one of my new favorite #lunch prep meals. Next time I might add a few Kalamata olives.
